Accidentally tamed a lvl 50 one with 1000+ melee and it got killed by a lvl 4 spino because of the high amount of knockback

So for low levels, just scout the beach till you find a Moschops that eats Mejoberrys. Tame it, and it will for ever be your friend (except if you ar attacking a Dino).

The moschops is a good first mount as it is rideable without a saddle. While not nearly as fast as a raptor or anything else for that matter, it is still a good first mount for gathering and transportation in general.

It is now rideable and gathers a lot of fibre!

When on its radial upgrade menu, (for polymer, prime meat, leech blood ect), while hovering over the correct upgrade, press your attack buton repeadelty, (RT for Xbox), to dump all points into that one category.

Send these guys on wander and you'll have fiber for days!

Now that these are rideable, they are amazing super-low level tames if you can find one that wants Tintoberries or something to that effect. Not only do they gather Thatch and Wood from trees, but they also harvest bushes for Fiber and berries, plus harvest bodies of all types. They essentially make taming Therizinos pointless.

As long as you ride them,they don't run, so they can gather the most fiber in the game, along with I have a level 71 take down a level 20 theizo(pretend I can spell that)

Level up health and damage and you have yourself a cave killing carnivore. Took my lvl 101 (500 damage, 2500 health, single player) to the cave with the Artifact of the Massive. Came out with about 12,000 Chitin, the Artifact, and the shock and awe of what this easy tame can do. Lay large eggs for Superior Kibble, too. ALWAYS LEAVE ON PASSIVE or else they run off.

I got a super high level one like 150 and I got him 5,000 health and eventually 800% melee damage I play with 10 times taming on single player so all it took was one rare mushroom I did this on aberration so getting one was easy I named him Godzilla and he destroyed everything packs of ravengers packs of scorpions stegos I wouldn’t be surprised if he could take down a spino

Moschops longs are better then level 15k gigas

If you can't tame any dinos because you just started ark then use moschops!!! One of the best starter wood berry and fiber collector! If your moschop is high level he could literally kick ass!!!

These guys are op first tames, especially since they are passive, they have really good thatch, fiber, and berry harvesting too, so no need for trike if you have one of these guys.
