They are great farmers. I ride them, have a few dilos and a lych follow it (for extra xp) on neuttal. Set the moschops to wander. When I come back to base, they have stacks of narcos/stims/wood/thatch/fibre. And they're gaining boosted XP from the lych, which helps get my dilos leveled for other purposes. Really love this dino!

It has a level up meny if you hold triangle(ps4/ps5) can put points into respurces it can collect to increase the amt it can collect

Best use is for prime meat. Have a Moschops on standby. Pick up titanoboas with an argie and kill them above the Moschops. With even minor tweaks to the prime harvesting levels you'll be swimming in prime meat

During early game like fresh out the womb early game you might have a little thatch floor your living on when you encounter a Moschops, these medium sized iguanas are often left out when it comes down to best dinosaurs early game or not but simply they here’s why.

Abilities include its gathering, it can gather different berries, thatch, fiber, wood, which makes it super useful.

Tames, early game these creatures are usually particularly low level creatures compared to the Rex or Trike and can often be found on the beach. A few berries can tame these guys depending on the level and berries, as well as the buffs of the server.

Heath and stats, they have quite impressive health not not fighting, they often have high weight levels ideal for gathering and can sometimes have good speed.

Utilities to the player, if you’re getting early game things, trappers, floors and other building prints, food, tools or a variety of others these guys taking care of the gathering of wood thatch and fiber only leaves you with usually stone and or metal to gather aside from hide which is a battle resource. Aside from the ability of not being able to fight these guys are amazing compared to the Dodo which the tutorial try’s to get you to tame or kill. But they aren’t ideal for travel because you can’t ride or fly ‘em, but that of course has an easy solution; which is to tame a flyer or a traveler it’s not the hardest thing to do early game.

this is a coward. your hunting with it near it will run because its scared. but then another thing is i attacked a dilo once and barely killed it without dying and then a stupid machops on wander comes up and eats it. i wanted to kill it more then anything but its was pve

Moschops look they cant do anything but it can collect:fiber berries chitin.Its really good for fiber i thought they were just gonna walk but id say to tame one because its really god for fiber one bush is close too 20 fiber u have to set in anable wandering and it will collect a lot of fiber i suggest you use this for just fiber for just one min or 30 sec it.Could get 100 berries use this animal and you need berries to tame but when you tame this animal only level it (weight) because it get lots of fibers hope this helps

Easy way to get fiber early game if u don’t have a sickle. I still use these in late game.

The quickest way to tame one is using tintoberrys

These dudes are the best for just about anything, this dude helped me kill a lvl 50 dilo. Zipchops & officer are the best

If they cut down a tree near a animal they might hit it and dye RIP mossy

If it has to much stuff in it it will not collect anything it will just wander in a circle

If you want a bunch of resources but you are really busy, just tame a bunch of moschops and set them on wandering. And you will have stacks of wood, thatch, fiber, and berries. Just make sure you level up their damage, health and weight so that they can protect themselves. If you are worried about losing them, you can just use a tranponder tracker and node. Btw you can do this by just afk

I tamed a moschops because I could and named it bigchops, not knowing it’s abilities to gather. Later I looked at tips…

The wiki mentions that under most circumstances, Moschopses are reluctant to gather meat from corpses. What they fail to mention however, is that if you enable “victim item-collection” on your Moschopses and set them to “assist” they will eat the creature when you kill it (I tested this with Dodos). This can make bringing them with you during a hunt can be useful, even despite their reluctance to fight under any circumstances. Hopefully someone will find this useful.

Set it wandering, carry with argentavis, fly low/near grass/trees/what ever it is. He will collect everything much more faster XD
