Tips & Strategies

What are tips for moschops? Tips and strategies for moschops in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
On Mobile, all you need it Mejos and it takes 10 minutes to tame. Make a fences in area of about 2-3 acres of 30-40 spiked walls around your base to keep out all the bad creatures and set your Chops to wandering. Check on it in about 2-3 days and boom 1000 fiber!
Dododex forgot to add Tintoberries and Mejoberries
Dododex this is a passive tame and if u hit it whit a bola I'll lose its taming
Be prepared to get resources from across the map. They are excellent gatherers
For mobile ultimate edition, if this fat vuk, want some rare stuff. Just exit your game (just to main menu is fine), then get load your game again. He will want something different. "if you playing it on single player". Could be same with console or pc i suppose?

Took 2 minutes and 40 seconds between each feed on a level 135. Similar time for a level 90 too.
Right around 3 minutes per feeding so be ready with all the stuff
You can build an automatic poly farm with a moschops
Tame penguins, leave them on mating, let the eggs fall in range of an AC to be incubated, put moschops on aggressive, level up poly on moschops
Leave moschops alone with the hatching babies for a while
Hop on moschops and empty his inventory
AFTER you empty his inventory use his regurgitation attack and it will regurgitate a percentage of all the poly collected since his last regurgitation
This can also be considered organic poly storage that won't spoil as long as you don't use the regurgitation attack until you're ready to use the poly
Not sure if a server reset will clear the poly to be regurgitated, need to test that out
Now I’m not sure if this is just an ark switch thing, but these things fight back. Like I attack the wild moschops, it runs away like normal, but then makes a u-turn and runs at you and attacks you. It then repeats the process until you kill it or maybe lose its agro. At least the moschops is defending itself.
-Some random Ark Mobile player who now plays switch
My next tip will be on the paraceratherium
My last tip was on the chalicotherium
Great if you want an early game auto fiber. I suggest tame three, set them to wander, NEVER exempt them from group whistle, leave them somewhere bushy with trees, and collect every 2-3 in game days. Easy source of berries, seeds, thatch and fiber (Mobile). Make sure to always level up their health, damage and weight.
