Make sure when taming this or any non passive ocean tame, to use tranq spears and harpoon lajnchers to split your knockout time in half.

This is an easy tame, just get an itchy and shoot tranq darts at it while a couple body lengths above its head, mine dissapeared due to a glitch though (in mobile)

Tip for knocking out grab with tuso then have your friend shoot it with traqs

I find it easiest to build a trap using 4-5 behomoth gateways (arranged parallel to eachother in a “rib cage” like formation with 2 gates on either end, leave a little space between just enough to slip through with an Icthy or Megalodon) in order to tame a Mosa, simply leave one side open to lure the Mosa through before speeding behind it and shutting it in.

Bring lots of bolts and/or arrows and a healthy amount of narcotics because its topor depletes fast.

It's not too hard to tame one of these if you have a deep sea taming pen/raft (it's possible! I'm surprised too). Just be wary of that bite it packs a punch. Lured it in the cage with some barys bred for speed and had a tribemate seal it in. Be prepared to wait a while and bring plenty of quetzal kibble or mutton if you can.

Tranq this creature from above their depth limit. They will run away as their topor increases so bring a Megaladon or a Mosa if you somehow managed to get one.

Easiest method to KO - Grab the mosa with a tuso and bring toto shallow waters. There you can get a tribe mate to KO it, or if you're solo like me, you can drop the mosa and if the water is shallow enough it will stay still and it's an easy KO

I tamed my Mosasaurus with a Sarcosuchus. The Sarco was very fast and was able to instantly regenerate stamina underwater. I was able to shoot tranquilizer arrows from the Sarco’s back. I also used a SCUBA tank so I didn’t have to surface in order to breathe. The Mosasaurus was level 6 when it was wild. I was on mobile, so I took a soothing balm, gave it to the Mosasaurus, gave it some meat, and used about 100 narcotics. With the soothing balm, it only took about 11 meat to tame. He now sits in the water right by my raft and has to defend himself from sharks every once in a while.

Grab with a tuso while a tribe mate tranqs it for an easy tame

The x-mosa crossbow tranq amount is way out. On official i had to use an extra 100 tranqs for a lvl 90. Bring alot of extra arrows.

If trying to tame one make like a wyvern trap on the bottom on the ocean and hive someone else shut it. I use a sarco to lead it in the trap. On the center you can make the trap right next to the air bubble to escaped in the Airr away from any attack range and have a keypad to shut it.

Have someone on a plesi with high health tank the bites from the mosa and have however many other people you have tranqing it. Thats how we tamed our 150 :)

best way to tame this thing get a low lvl squid with points on health hold the mosa with squid and go up and wait 15 the mosa ko by the way if you get the mosa up the mosa will leave you and not attack you just wait the mosa ko if you find this help rise it

Your best bet will be farming hunters cave for 10x soothing bam and then using a good crossbow to take down a mosasaurus and then feed it prime meat I would say use a dolphin to do that so the other creatures don't attack you and it will easy as hell.

The turn radius of the Mosasaurus is huge so you can easily swim around and avoid the mouth while pelting them with tranq arrows.

Who tamed this thing with cooked fish meat, because they are the green ninja.

When taming wait for torpor to get really low, then dump all required narcotic. I usually do extra just Incase but doing this you can relax while you wait for your timer.

Theres a trick into taming a mosa by getting it stuck in shallow water, all you gotta is hit an ammonite and let the mosa follow you into really shallow water, this causes it to get stuck and it wont move no matter what you do. This can also be done with a tuso.

Im pretty sure you can use tranquilizer spear bolts in harpoon guns but i might be wrong
