Breed up a Megalodon with a lot of health (~30-40,000) and face tank it. Once it’s on the run your shark will be able to catch it easy.

X creatures take 2.5 times as many tranqs to knock and also the mosa wakes up 2 times faster than a spino so it wakes up veeeerrry fast

I dont know if this works for everyone but my mosa that I tranqed ran away from me when I got off my mosa and it was under its height limit

If taming on genesis the mosa is an X dino. Which requires 3x the normal amount of tranqs than normal. ( this is for any X dino) to trap the mosa place 4 behemoth gate frames in a row spaced a little apart. Put a door on both end gates. Open one end and kite the mosa in, swim outside the gap you left between the gates and swing around to close the gate you kites it through. Knock it outside and get that giga of the sea! Also as a heads up, the torpor drops like a giga. Therefore you only have a few mins after it’s knocked out to start pumping the narcotics into it. Once you do that it takes awhile to fill it’s torpor and you will have it tamed before it fills if using kibble.

you need over 2000 bio toxin if you use cooked fish meat on a level 150

An easy way to tame these beast is to make an argy trap but with behe gates and lure it in then tranq it. It may take a few try’s to get it In but it works. I used these because I was looking for pleays and that’s all I had

Just build a taming pen.

3 Behemoth Gate Frames are prefect (2 might work as well) + 2 Gates

Ride an Ichty and let it follow you.

If you done it correctly it can't get out and due to it's terrible turning radius you can swim with your Ichty to the gate and close ir

If you hit an annomoite on mobile the mosa will aggro to u then swim up and make sure that it is in shallow water then you can start tranqing

Use a squid for taming. They can be hard to tame without one.

As everyone knows, Mosa and Plesy have a roof limit where they can swim upwards before they turn back. And i found out that Plesy have a slightly higher roof limit than them.

Can someone try the quetzel trap on a plesiosaur? I cant get the platform saddle yet and add a few more layers under the trap to not get hit by it

To tame this thing get you and a friend with a plesiosaur and sit on chair with scuba drive up because it will not go up to surface and pepper it with tranq arrows then repeat till it is knocked [works better with more people as it’s torpor drops very fast]

Build underwater taming penn using behemoth gate,rest of penn only need be 3 walls high with enough ceiling to keep in.Grab mosasaur with giant squid and carry to penn then place inside,jump off leaving squid to block then shut gates.Move squid out of harms way then tame.

Taming mosas on mobile with soothing balm is really fun! Knocking it down Is simple put your mount above the line of how high it can go and you keep going down a little to get its attention then go back up and keep shooting, with raw meat and soothing balm it should tame quickly I tamed a level 11 in about 4 mins it goes up 9.9% each time for a level 11

When taking use 4 behemoth gate and 2 doors swim in there while it ls following get behind the door and slam it shut to trap it

If you play on mobile you get access to a thing called soothing balm, once you knock down a mosa feed it soothing balm and narcotics and give it raw meat if that's all you have

The easiest way I've found to trap them is to build a pen out of Behemoth Gate Frames about 10-12 long with doors on either side on the ocean floor. Happy Taming!
