Hey make sure to have really good armor when trying to tame these. I made the mistake of not doing that and my 1,000 Hp got shredded by a level 50

Went on a hunt for my first one, ended up finding a 150 female! Knocked out, starved out, and the went out of cave for 12 Prime Meat and she was all mine. Lucky day!

For those just starting on a aberration world or half way through i would highly recommend you tame urself a high level megalosaur. Beacuse its always night in aberration they have the night /cave buff 100% of the time witch means really high damage good health and stamina. In my opinion i rate the megalosaur as the number 1 dino for getting rockdrake eggs :)

On aberration, megalosaurus normally stay in one place unless they see another Dino, so if you are trying to get a quick megalo tame set up a small trap and then shoot the megalosaurus

Always I've Found them in the cave nearest to the beaver dams opposite the ark island. Beware keep little kibble on them as they wake up regardless at sunset but keep the tame level once you put them back down. Good luck.!

Do not attempt to kill this thing I was in the blue area then a level 15 mega appeared it dismounted me then dealt 100 damage to me and my ravager boi RUN AWAY

If you have the bug where your game crashes when you try to leave a cave, I know how to fix it! You save RIGHT before the spot where you crash, then once saved, allow the game to crash. Go back on and wait for all the trees and stuff around to load and... BOOM got any cave tame,I discovered this when I tamed a megalosaurus🙂

You can find them sleeping in the bottom of the collapsed area of the City Center on Extinction. This is the WSW (west south west) section of the diamond on the map.

Can be commonly found in the carniverous caverns on Ragnarok. The easiest, wyvern accessible entrance is nearby pelagornis bay, up on the mountain. Be careful when inside, because there are normally two right at the entrance. Happy taming!

On the island, check the artifact caves.

I have seen them spawn on top of snowy mountains in procedural arks, however.

In aberration I just tamed one of these when a whole army of nameless try to eat him alive and kill it faster than I killed the alpha.

I used a lvl 50 sometghing sabertooth to take it out found 2 on mobile art. of clever 1 was guarding a triolobite dossier and 2 was stuck ikn a pond

Just found a 145 in Easy cave on my 160 Raptor...

I would be careful because i was going to tame a anky with my ravager and a megalosaurus woke up and put the ravager in his mouth and did 100 damage per 5 seconds then he let go of my ravager and started eating me but luckily i survived at 100 health. I hope this helps someone letting them know they can put certain dinos like ravagers raptors and i not sure about parasuars in there mouth and my name on xbox is qyzbee if you want to play ark together :)

Imagine my surprise when I found out this buddy is a cave dweller. Stood up and them eyes went yellow and I got shook. Other scary stuff

I’m in easy mode right? And night sucks like I can’t see anything, I see this thing here in the Dododex, was like oh my god it’s the yuty of ark mobile! (Yes I play ark mobile) and I was like? Hey I need to find this thing I went to the lava cave with caracal (direwolf with 100% imprint) turns out IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME (also he died :( ) because searching for it they only appear in the middle chamber in mobile, time to go to the artic, start process get another dire wolf and go to middle chamber, kill, take implant, level up, learn revival platform, and well, tame, so it’s gonna be pretty easy
