Quetzal’s can’t pick up a Megalo but can pick up a Mammoth??

I ran into a megalosaurus when it was sleeping. I mistook it for a rock and ran right over it. It immediately lunged at me roaring. It scared me so bad i yeeted the controller across the room and floped onto the couch.😅

If u didnt know in mobile they only spawn in the middle chamber cave normaly by the pool of water at the back. hope this helps.🙃

Beware if spawning in Viking bay ragnarcok because they DO spawn outside of caves.

Whatever you do, do not get close to it with pretty much any medium dinos or fliers because these thing can pick up fricking argies and monch them to death so keep a good distance between them, you and your tames. Trust me on this i lost a lot of things to these monsters.

How do they know if it’s day or night on the island if they spend all of their time sleeping in caves?

Anyone else feels bad for it when you kill it while it's sleeping?

During the day, they are very sluggish and attack slow. At night they are a frightening sight with much higher speed and attack. Beware when encountering them at night.

I've seen them in the central cave on the island.

This Dino is found in the cave in between volcano in big mountain. It’s not that hard to find in mobile.

Ran across what I thought was one of these sleeping while playing with my bf. We realized what it was without waking it up so we made a plan to tame it. As soon as we shot at it it jumped up and we then found that it was TWO sleeping meglos! One on top of the other!! Needless to say we still went through with our plan and managed to knock them both out… but then for some reason the game CRASHED! We’re currently heading back in to see how much, if any of our progress was saved and to do it again I guess if we have to. Wish us luck!

In ARK ultimate mobile edition they can spawn in the hunter cave, very rare tho i've stepped on one accidentally.

Can be found in Carno island cave, south west lava cave, south east cave near Stonehenge, Central cave near volcano, and possibly others. They are very rare spawns but if checked regularly you can encounter them if looking to tame.
