Only found one on ragnarok lvl 50 by the ribcage cave at viking bay

Be careful around these guys. On Ragnarok, the jungle near Viking bay 2 has them just chilling in the jungle. So be careful when it turns night, as I’ve had one wander down the onto the beach.

These bad boys/girls only spawn in the artifact of the cleaver cave on mobile. They’re relentless during the night time so only knockout during day time. Oviraptor eggs will be the most time consuming part of trying to tame a mega.

To anyone who finds these in Viking bay on rag, they don’t spawn there but there’s a nearby cave that they do spawn at and they wander off into the actual Viking bay

If paired with night vision googles, it makes an excellent raiding mount. Super strong and can carry other tames.

Fun fact:if you jump on one they wake up. And if you’re on it’s back u live if not opposite.

The megalosaurus can be carried by a quetz when its awake, doesnt matter whether its day or night but it cannot be carried while its sleeping

Bring around 20 stone pillars to trap it just Incase it wakes up on you

Use this dino on aberration its always buffed cuz its on a cave and it resist radiation

Really good for going to the rockdrake den and getting eggs

Extremely easy to tame with tranq darts.just go tame it in the daytime

The best way to tame is make a gate, aggro it on the gate, and when it’s out of stam it’ll knock on its own. Then it won’t wake when it hits night. Trust me, I did it. ^ if this helped.

Beware, when sleeping; they can look like rocks. I dont suggest jumping on them. So before you jump on a „rock” remember to take a good look at it to make sure its not a megalosaurus.

They look so cute when sleeping!!

Watch out they will grab your flyer, throw you off it, and whip the flyer around in the air like a dog with a rag!

You can find them sleeping in the cave close to the volcano i found three of them

If you see something that looks like a rock but not quite, ignore it. For your own sake ignore it. I ran too close to one and next thing I know me and my parasaur have four on our ass.

Attention epic ARK players, if you place any structure near their aberrant counterpart while they are unconscious they will wake up. If you are making a trap make sure to destroy it after knocking him out.

Can be used to wreck a Rex. How does a carno sized Dino wreck a Rex? Dunno
