He is normal during the Day but night is a monster

dont even try to tame at night they will have glowing eyes and a insane buff in damage and health they can also grab you with its mouth

How to tame: Go in the day to the central cave and go to the very bottom. If you see one it should be sleeping. Kill off anything that can attack you or your new buddy, (You’ll need prime meat or raw meat, tranqs and a soothing balm (optional). Once its knocked out put meat in and thats how to find and tame a new buddy! They are nocturnal so won’t be that helpful in day. (works on moblie and other devices.)

On Aberration they don’t sleep during daytime so they always have the nighttime buff. On the plus side it means if you tame them they are always at their strongest. By far the best attack mount on the new map.

Found them more commonly in the Carno Cave (Artifact of the Devourer) instead of the Chitin Cave

It worked for me. It didn’t wake up until it tamed. It can’t damage stone either

If you’re on abb then look for high levels in the blue zone they are super common but pack a punch like a rex. Best abb boss dino for anyone looking to fo rockwell for the first time

I just tamed a megalosaurus and it died the fist 2-5 minutes i tamed it because it was asleep and it wasn’t eating

If you use biotoxin arrows it takes 5 don't forget to ride a cave creature it won't agro when near until you shoot it to tame it then be on a ledg with it bellow you makes it easy to tame

I have a level 502 Megalosaurus and at night he one shots Brontosaurus at day however he has trouble with even raptors I think they should make an update we’re they only need to sleep a quarter of the day

If you pick up a mega with your quetz during the day it will loose hunger rapidly before you even KO the mega, that way when you start taming it has already begun the starve timer.

I tamed one with tranquilliser arrows and a slingshot. It was even level 130. If you want to tame one I suggest finding it at night and waiting till day to tranquillise it because if it’s night it will wake up instantly

Get on a Dino with high health that allows mounted weaponry and use ur Dino to tank it while u tranq it. Best way to ko one I know of.

On mobile you can easily find high level one by running through the cave, and then reconnecting to the game(only solo!!!)

If he wakes up during sleep after dawn, just wait couple minutes, he will fall sleep again without need of shooting tranq in him again.

Do not attempt to make it sleep while carrying something or the creature being carried will be bugged for life. as off patch v254.96
