Sit on tank turtle and either have friend shoot from boat or shore or shoot yourself while on turtle.

To beat a mega is (or tame) to 10 or 21 otters with a lot of Health and high (or little) damage and you in the background shooting it with arrows (or Trank) with out taking damage (unless it was a group of megas)

Equip full scuba so the flippers make you faster. Swim away from the shark backwards in a circle, Nothing but head shots and a quick take down with cross bow and tranq arrows if you do this correctly. Their turn radius is pretty small so if you can keep moving so they ate pertually turning, it's an easy take down without any damage.

How to tame a megalodon

1 - Get tranq arrows (200 of them)

2 - find a megalodon

3 - shoot with tranq arrows

4 - put any type of meat and narcotics in its inventory

5 - craft it's saddle

These fit through the giant hatch frames so it is possible to build a taming boat trap

First knock them out by going above water where the megalodon is then tranq it above water then add a load of meat then wait and make sure you have a saddle with you

I also saw another person say this just get a itchysouriour and I know I spelt that wrong who cares they look like a dolphin anyway put a saddle on it and kite the megaladon I thought of this while I was taming one

Take 2 people. Take a sarco or baryonx. Have one person lure the shark to shore, while other uses crossbow to knock out. Feed with kibble. NAME BRUCE.

Use a frog

Easy tame, don’t even worry about narcotic, it will tame before wake if using prime

Tame a baryonyx the just look for megs as baryonyx really good in the water and you can shoot while riding

Megalodon have quite a big turning circle. Pump movement to at least 120% and go find one using a scuba suit, get next to it but a bit towards it's tail end, shoot with tranq arrows and it will circle round and round until its KO'd. Enjoy your new pet!

Trank it out make sure no others around stuff prime cooked or normal meat into its inventory and protect it

I tamed a itchy and just used it as a distraction to shoot tranq arrows (sorry for my bad English)

There a good tame here’s how I did it

1) lure it to shore

2)tranq it normally with 10 arrows

3)feed it meat

4) you have a megalodon

BE CAREFUL because once it’s yours all the other sharks around you will attack it and it sucks I’ve had like 4 die this way

Dont be scared pf them, is all you need to think about when playing ark basically, is easy this mf sleep more than me after school, just lure them and on a safe place give them meat, just eith that if its a high lvl itll need sum narcotics, like 100, but 100 for a fcking shark is too little, and with just that sleep and itll be tamed

You can absolutely trap them with dino gates attached underneath a raft. Drive the raft over the mega, then dismount to trap. Leave a hole in the box to shoot from above water. GG
