Step 1. Tame a manta

Step 2. Use the manta and all the surrounding sharks will agro on you and follow you

Step 3. Bring it closer to shore and tranq it out

Step 4. Feed it meat and it doesn’t need narcotics

Step 5. Name it Noah ( because it’s ark - Noah’s ark? Get it? It also rhymes with shark, see? Noah’s ark, shark. See? It’s perfect

Try to find a megladon by the shore and tranq it out it shallow water or on shore so it can't attack you.

1. Get an ichthy with a saddle

2. Find a megalodon underwater

3. Kite the megalodon to shallow water with your ichthy

4. Tranquilize it from the shore or a rock safely

5. Make sure you don't keep shooting it after it is KO (I learned this the hard way)

6. Name it Bruce

megalodons CAN'T get into dino gates！u can't build a boat with underwater taming pen to trap them.just lure one to shallow water and tranq it.

You're gonna need a bigger boat. This bad boy will eat you, your wife, and your children.

1. Get a itchthy

2. Get a good crossbow (any works)

3. Find a good Megalodon

4. Fire Tranq arrows from Itchthy

- Itchthys don’t attract any water creature, use that advantage against the mega

-You can use weapons on an itchthy!

How to tame a megaladon easily

1.get yourself a pulmonoscorpion

2.swim underwater

3.keep stinging him until hes knocked out

Tame these guys from the back of a baryonyx. One stun attack and a few tranq arrows and you're set.

Best way to tame these big things that like to eat you.You get it to follow you to shore keep moving until it’s tail is straight up he or her is stuck and easy to tame put a up if this helps

What they're good for: I'd say they're good for defense mainly. You could also take them out hunting for fish food.

Where to find: ocean water

How to tame: get a crossbow and tranq arrows. Find a shark close to shore. Shoot shark and swim to shore, swim back out into water and shoot. Repeat this until shark is down. Feed meat and narcotics if necessary. *guaranteed to not get bitten this way*

I personally tame sharks, crypod them and go back to my base where I live right next to a small lake. I put 3-10 sharks in the lake and put them on wander and aggressive mode. If anyone or anything goes into the lake, they'll be dead in seconds. Also if I happen to be getting raided while online, I pick the raiders up with my bird and drop them into the shark infested lake. :)

Max their melee damage!

These terrors of the ocean may seem a very strong and a late-game tame, but my first megalodon was tamed when I was less than level 20, all I did was go into the water and lure it to a place shallow enough then knocked it with a club, took very long to knock out but it was worth that time.

1. Wait till it is eating a turtle.

2. Tranq it and kill its friends.

3. Use the meat 🥩 from its friends to tame it.

I tamed mine by making it come to the shallows and getting it stuck by swimming in circles and using a club, you can get it early by doing this. I used a new club and when I was done it was at quarter health.

Megalodon prefer raw meat than raw fish meat, so don't try to kill water dinos to tame your megalodon. In low level, they have low weight, but if you increase its weight, it will be perfect. Megalodon always spawn near red obelisk, so go to the ocean and you will find a lot of megalodon. Remember: If you don't tranquilizater darts, use a crossbow and shoot tranq!

Not going to lie, the easiest way to tame these is by using a Icthy, they are so easy to juke Megalodons with while you shoot them with tranqs using your crossbow.

Make sure there are no other megalodon near by when knocking them out, it makes them take so much less torpor from each shot for mate boost and pack bonus. I had to figure this out the hard way

To tame you have to use a crossbow because a long neck rifle can't shoot underwater.

Like do that other people can see it.

To anyone who has his megalodon/any swimmming dino stuck on The shore. Just cryopod It. I sacrified a Mosa before knowing this :/

My shark is stuck on the beach. I’ve tried everything like getting my trike, my diplo, and putting it on follow. Someone please help I just tamed it!!!

How to tame a meg on mobile:

You will need: Bary w/ saddle, A crossbow, and(of course) a wild meg near the shoreline

1.Find one near the shore, shouldn’t be too hard

2:Grab your bary and ride it

3.Once in water, wait for the meg to aggro and attack something. A swimming turtle is prefered bc they have a large hp pool

4.Shoot the meg as it fights. If the Dino is still alive, kill it.

5.Feed it and boom u have a meg!

This is how I tamed my first meg rusty on my single player, it may not be as effective on PvP
