If your taming one then hop on a itchy then get off it’ll start Chasing you bring it to land then start traqing feed spino kibble if it you have it otherwise just feed it prime meat I’m a mobile player that’s how I do it hope this helped :)

You can tame the megalodon easier by also having a diplocaulus with you. When you see a good megalodon, start shooting it when it agros you. Every few shots/when it gets close, hop on your diplo and swim away a little. Then shoot a few more times. Rinse and repeat until knocked out - then give it prime meat jerky/whatever meat you have.

In reality megalodon should be bigger than Mosasaurus.

Meg: 66 ft

Mosa hoffmanii: 49 ft

lol so many people telling you how to tame. easy. get a sarco or a dolphin thing. make it aggro at you and go either to land or into the shallows. meg will chase you snd get stuck. tranq. feed meat. and boom you got a meg. but be careful about it they do attract other megs. does make it easy to get more megs tho. if more come to attack you either move your meg or fight them. i have gotten about eight of these bad boys by this strategy. your welcome peeps.

If you find a meg, have a pike with you and stay at an edge where it can’t swim to you and then it is killed and you get resources.

On the south west side where the side island is and in the lake where megaladon are infested, they are tameable

Isolate the one you're taming from wild Megalodon, lest it get killed seconds after being tamed. Rest in peace, my level 210.

Step1 get narc arows and a bow and narcotics

Step2 get a sarco and a sadle for it

Step3 nock it out

Step4 watch out for gelli fish

Use a pelagornis iT really helped me out just tranq and then escape understatement I tamed a 129 in deep water with iT

They seem tough if your new and are powerful when there’s a lot but alone their WEAK i watched a turtle kill one

People keep saying to use tranq darts but u cant use darts under water😡

"You need a crossbow if you want to tame one so dont try it until u got one" There are 2 ways to tame a megalodon :

1.If you found a good megalodon near the shore then you re pretty lucky cuz u just have to go under water attack it then go back on the shore , do that till the megalodon gets knocked out.

2. If u found a megalodon but it s not near the shore than you have 2 options trap it or use another mount like an ichtyosaurus cuz he doesnt attract watter creatures and you can equip a crossbow on him.

Just ride out on your raft and jump in the water, then get back on the raft, because it cannot attack you on the raft. Rinse and repeat until it is knocked out.

Try to find one stuck in a rock in shallow water, with enough luck you should be able to knock it out with ease (i use fists)
