The easiest way to kill these guys is to lead them to the shore and for some reason they will glitch and get stuck, letting you get close and personal (without getting attacked) or you can shoot it down with your ranged weapon. If you don’t have a crossbow you can lure it close to the shore and if you have lots of arrows you can easily take it down with a bow
