Taming them is fairly strait foreword, just bola them and knock 'em out!

Well, it's so easy to tame thse guys! I will show u first what you need:

1-bola

2- food (vegetarian ofc)

Tip-JUST THE MALES CAN ATTACK

Tip-i will advise you to tame a female first, it's just not attack. Well lets start!

Step 1:get some food.

Step 2: use the Bola

Step 3:attack it until its sleeping

Step 4: give it some food

For the male it's the same thing, just the male it's attacking! So be careful.

Carry lots of berries to knock out this deer. If you can get it high on hp and attack plus speed/stamina, you will have the unstopabble Bucky. Mr. Clementine is lvl 43 now. Or 49? Nvm that. Hes a beast tho. So darn precious

because of his attacks. Takes down sarcos and kapros like its nothing. Even carnos. He took down many things. If he was in the artic with me, he would beat up a direwolf. Or an argy. +Sabertooth cat, Therzino and raptor, (If they crossed the borderline.) See, when I tamed Mr. Clementine it was a miracle. He was only lvl 25 at the time. But went up lots of lvls in taming. So wish Mr. Clementine luck, because I will make him take on a spino lvl 1. They get really annoying when they spawn in my routes I take to go to the Writhing Swamps, to get to Redwoods, or the other way across my island, and even ON MY ISLAND. Good thing I beat the one that was on my island ALMOST to death. Im a bad shooter. R.I.P Lystro distraction. -TinaZ.

I have a lvl, 35 Megaloceros, and his name is Mr. Clementine. I currently lost my other male, named Bucky. But Mr. Clementine is even better!!! He even took down a Carno! I was so impressed. His melee damage is 195. Im so impressed. I also tamed a female named Rosa. Some of her fur is white, while the rest of her body is brown. It might be a glitch, because when I tamed her, she was a very light blue color mixed with grey and white. She didn't do much tho.. But Mr. Clementine is an absoulte beast!!! Better thank Bucky. Bucky would have died from a carno. And yes, an actual Carno... Get males to breed with females!! Make sure you carry hundreds of berries if you want the male or female to be super high lvl, like Mr. Clementine.

The space bar jump that they have sends you bounding forward like a rocket. This is one of the fastest things on land.

This is a tip to let u know only to tame the ones with antlers. The one with antlers are male. The ones without are female and do literally nothing. The males however can do stuff so don’t tame the ones without antlers

Ugh, I do a breeding program with mine, and im have a few problems.

1. The faun's noises are SO annoying! Every time I come to the Megaloceros pen (A simple setup i I made, 6 thatch foundations, 4 wood railings around the perimiter, a feeding trough stuffed with crops & berries, a thatch doorframe for easy entrance and exit, and a storage box with some eggs in it.) I hear "mik, mik, mik! Mik, mik, mik!" In a very high pitch, or the classic, brutally annoying faun noise. Anyhow, I just wish the ARK devs could make a "baby muzzle" for all babies, maybe unlockable around lvl 30? The only drawback is it can't eat on it's own. I just find it annoying to hear "Mik, mik, mik!" Every time I head in to my Megaloceros pen, and having no way to mute it. Maybe, along with the baby muzzle, the devs could make a "Dinosaur muzzle", too, so you can mute adults, too. 2. I set my Moose on wandering in their pen, and when I come back, somehow they escape the pen! The walls are 4 railings high, and im wondering if they 1. glitch out 2. the walls despawn. 3. they "glitch-climb" on eachother 4. they escape using the trough. Can someone please tell me wth is going on?!? thx. Please ^ if you think the muzzle ideas are good!

Thought I got scammed when the females couldn’t attack. Turns out their jump is pretty nice. I got away from a Calica while jumping.

These are passive and pretty easy to tame so go tame you one or two but you have to be lv 30 to get a saddle.

This could be used to drain food of a dino really quickly because if you knock out something while it is bleeding from this dino, it’s food will decrease as long as the bleed continues. Be careful though, the dino could die from the bleed however after taming that dino, it will fully heal.

Just carried one by argy on Mobile…. I’m not sure if that’s supposed to be possible, but it is = )

To find these creatures you'll see them in the redwoods and the snow.

Only the male can be used to get berries, and if you breed them you have to wait until the mother gives birth it's not a egg.

Megalooceros are easy tame because they are passive but once hit they run away which is bad for itself and you because it will run into other creatures. Such Rexes, raptors, sarbertooths, scorpions, Argys, allosaurus, thylas, yutys, daedons, and Carnos. Also other dangerous creatures. All you need are bolas to trap it, tranq arrows or a club to knock it out, and berries or crops to feed it. And done have a good day with your deer.

Can fit in doorframes. One just walked right into my dino trap.
