It’s better if you use an arge to pick up the moose and bring it to your taming pen you built. Then tranq it out. Then you got yourself a fabulous Rudolph.

Quick tip about the megaloceros the males are the only ones that can attack while females are good for fleeing downside is they can't attack and can be killed easily hoped this helped.

All 3 died tragically. I had them come into the house because a dinosaur was attacking and they ran to the roof, jumped off and died 😭

When you run at something and then attack it does more damage.

This is how me and my friend tamed one.

1. Make a couple narcotics

2. Gather berries

3. Go to the redwoods

4. Find one and scoop up with argentavis

5. Hold it with argentavis over a safe spot and have your friend shoot it with tranq arrows every 5 seconds

6. Once knocked out feed berries and narcotics as needed!

7. Enjoy your new friend

You guys I cannot believe this 🤣 I killed 3 Rex (NOT AT THE SAME TIME) with only 1 of these guys knock out and tame a 150 the males are Op it’s unfortunate females can’t attack. Careful these guys take good fall damage though.

You can easily tell the gender by the horns. (Horns=male, No horns= female)

YES! Finally learned how to breed and am know waiting for a fawn, or two, or three!

Here is a great tip for taming these. When you fly to the redwoods, MAKE YOUR FLYER AN ARGY! When you knock it out and the area seems safe, note that other creatures (purlovias, terror birbs, carnos etc) can spawn and kill your megaloceros! With an argy you can protecc your megaloceros, by killin' dem carnz, Killin' dem Terror birbz and killin' all dem tingz who come near ya moose! I was taming one while flying on my argy, and i had to kill: like a million terror birb packs, one carno and one purlovia, all to protect my moose. Her name is Sprinkle, and she is pregnant now, and safe thanks to my argy. Argy's also have great stamina, so you can hover over your megaloceros and protect it. Pteranodons can't protect very well, don't have great starting stamina etc. USE AN ARGY TO PROTECT YOUR FUTURE TAMED MOOSE! P.S One like=one hope sprinkle's future baby is female!

I tamed one when I spawned in the cold I knocked it out with fists and I died because it was cold and I was naked. But it was taming and I spwaned near it and tamed it

These make great tanks. Every one I had went the distance with almost anything! Plus they’re good no leaping and fall damage. Another difference than other tanks is this one is fast.

These do have a bleed effect, but only when wild, this can be seen by eating a rare flower near a male, it will kill you in 4 hits no matter how much health you have.

In mobile they change colours, I think it’s either when you tame them or the go to a different location

I was flying around and saw a pack of terror birds killing everything so while they were killing a male I led the female father away used my bola knocked her out used mejoberries but collected more and then flew her to my base

Now I am on a mobile device, and this maybe was my imagination, but while taking one of these fellas, I fed it a rare flower, it tamed a bit faster until the taming went up, so I fed it another, it helped!

Also, if you can’t find rare flowers anywhere, go to your local beaver dam and open it, beware though, the beaver will attack you for stealing stuff from their precious babies… anywho, they give you rare flowers.

Also, if you have an argintavis and a tree platform, pick it up with your argie, place it on the platform, bola it, and use TRANQ ARROWS! Tranq darts to more melee than the arrows, also the bolas only last for 30 seconds! So be quick!

Guys you can bola it and it’s a really easy knockout you can use five to ten tranq arrows with a crossbow

I tamed one of these and used it to leap through the forest at high speeds to mine metal.
