Megalanias are simply the best climber that isnβt a rock drake because thylas and deinonychus are extremely buggy when climbing. Theyβre great for caving and taming things by climbing around, just beware that their bite does almost no damage against tames. Utilize their rider weaponry and bring a shotgun or compound bow.

You can shoot from its back 360Β° unlike other creatures that only have a 180Β° range (half circle) to Climb you must right click. Its very helpful for taming things because you can shoot from any angle and stick to any surface
You can take the Megalania to Aberration and use it in the radioactive zone it will not be infected with radiation
For a deadly wombo combo have a megalania and a microraptor, the microraptor stuns a player while knocking them off their mount and the megalania gives them rabies
