Best way to keep this creatures torpor in control simply let it drain almost out then quickly use a lot of narco berries . DO NOT use narcotic the key is the torpor drops fast and fills very slowly so starve her and blast her with hundreds of stacks narco berries

Be careful with this one, it needs a 120 drop in food per kibble, not 80 like most. And it needs waaaaay more narcotics than listed here!

These things will bite your tame when you are carrying it back. Doesn't do slot of damage but eats the stamina away

The torpidity drains at like 20+ per second and seems to get faster as it goes down unless you have kibble, mutton, or prime ready you need someone to keep it k ocked out while you go get it trust me

Raw mutton if you want to use even a hardly sane amount of narcotics

Clear a cave, eat a rare flower and they'll come from hiding, stand with flak armour and tranque away :-)

I used equus to knock it out. It took 2 hits only. megalania was LVL 14 and my eqqus LVL 70.

You guys have to be very careful, they have the highest torpor rate in ark and apparently eat sugar.

Bring lots of narcotics. Torpor drops incredibly fast. Also seems to take quite a while to get hungry enough to eat anything when taming.

Highly aggressive, the Megalania will attack any and all tamed creatures as well as players on sight. Due to their small size, they are capable of biting the mounts used to carry them all the travel long, but their actual damage is rather low.

Crossbows are recommended over Longneck Rifles, as their high torpor drain rate might extend the knocking proccess if let alone. Narcoberries over Narcotics is almost mandatory, not only because of the high torpor drop but also because of their low torpor points.

Tamed it for 3 Hours using 550 Narcoberries ( level 150 ). Pc crashed at 95% , 1,5 bites left. It woke up and killed me. Beware !

In Ragnarok they are found in Vikings Bay if you want one take an argument a wyvern or a Griffin pick it up put it in a cage and Walla you got yourself a megalania

Insane torpidity loss, don't bother knocking it out without tons of narcoberries or biotoxins (narcotics are least efficient, considering the amount of berries that go into them versus the amount of just berries it takes to keep down. Make sure all other hostile or potentially tame-disrupting enemies are taken care of, because it takes a lot to keep this thing down amd losing efficiency to foolish mistakes wouod be shameful. Remember, if you're in a cave with bug repellant this thing will still attack you, and other cave dwellers you are unaffected by will still detect it once tamed. Very labor intensive tame, but worth it.

Bring a saddle with you as mine keeps getting stuck on the walls and not wanting to leave!

Fyi bola does not work on these guys. Easy way have one member tank the hits other hit it with darts.

Says you can't pick up with a quetz, however I did, and had my tribemember tranq it in my claws.
