Eats Narcs like Hot Pockets so bring alot (500) gives mega rabies (a non permanant contagious disease which will kill you if you dont have meds), can climb walls and takes little to no fall damage. Great PVP tame terrible for figting other dinos as it doesnt have the damage.

Bring at least 1k narcotics for anything below 60. I tried to tame a lvl45 with cooked prime because I didn't have mutton for kibble i wasted 500 narcotics and 60 bio toxin it still wasn't near enough it drops 250 torpor a second and loses only half a point of food at the same time

Can be carried by a pteranodon which makes it easier and faster to get into a taming pen if that’s your preference

I tamed one in lava cave in the island. Struggled abit to get it out, but got it out by taking off the saddle, whistling it as far to exit as possible before grabbing it with an argy.

As with other high torpor tames, bring loads of narcs. This drops as fast as a Dimetredon.

I was taming with my friend on ragnarok at the level 10 and did something so stupid. We tried to tame a level 100 or so megalania with slingshots and rocks. My friend got too close and got mega rabies so I hid bad we had to dotame it

If you run into one and want to tame it get a kapri and carry it out the cave and use an argy or bigger to fly it home.

It get 4.6% from 1 mutton, torpidity goes down really fast so there is not option to leave it. It's about 50+ torper every sec. we tamed a lvl 145. Feed it narco every 5 sec. used about 700 narcos it's about the least you need or your screwed. Don't get attack by other lizards or you die. The diseases spreads airborne so leave the group or use antidote. Leave the Dino is no option. Tame with at least 2 ppl. Gl and hf

With Quetz everything's easier.

The megalania is only as hard to tame ad you make it. No traps needed or anything extra. No over thinking or planning.

Here's how i do it. On PVE.

Have a good thyla. got a lvl 450 thyla with 18k health. Just ride the thyla in to the cave. Shoot the megalania with tranqs.

It will start to run to you. Stay on the thyla. Just let the megalania bite the thyla and keep shooting it with tranqs.

He will start to run away when torpor is high. Just run after riding the thyla and shoot till he's asleep. Use narcotics, they wake up really fast. Kibble is best to use.

Recommend to tame under events. You save a lot of kibble on that 😉

Wear a mask while taming they got corona 69

A descent thylacoleo can take its attack while you shoot some tranq darts on until its knocked out this method is very useful when taming inside a cave where yiu cant use any flier inside.

Tamed a 150 last night, tranq arrows off my griffin, was building a trap around it while i waited for a tribemate to show up with raw mutton

When taming. Wait until it's torpor drops halfway in between the word "torpidity" and feed it 100 narcotics. Set a timer for 14 minutes and 30 seconds. when the timer goes of rinse and repeat.
