Easy to tame with the net projectile. Walked right up on him cuz I didn’t know wth it was. He didn’t even try to attack me

For easy KO : bring a Kaprosuchus in the cave with you, it can grabb the lizard , just dismount when grabbed and you can tranq it very easy. Just be ready with tons of narcos... :)

You can find them in south cave and south west(Lava cave)in ark survival ultimate edition if they don't spawn in these caves just kill all creatures wait for a day and go in Again

Supplies for taming: Bola or bear trap (about 15 of them), About 50 tranq darts, longneck rifle, narcotics or bio toxin, and lots of meat.

To tame these beasts, you will need to find a cave, the highlands beach in ragnarok, you need tranq darts or arrows, I prefer darts, get bolas or bear traps, it really doesn’t matter. Bola or trap it and shoot it repeatedly until it gets knocked out, you will need a far distance from them and you need loads of narcotics and/or bio toxin. Once you tamed it make Shute to get out of the cave

Use Tek helmet or rare flower to lure out. Like thyla, if you shoot it will fall

It's basically a giant komodo dragon.

Remember level ones take 87 narcos so bring a ton

Once tamed they are actually okay at swimming and excellent guard animals for if you're base gets raided just put them on the ceiling and when someone breaks in it drops on them and gives them rabies which will generally kill them quickly

If you are going to try to tame or kill one of these BRING LESSER ANTIDOTE!!!!! I learned the hard way.

Easiest way to tame it is by pulling urself under the cave ceiling with grappling hook and feel free shooting it.

This is a good tame if you have shocking tranquilizers and some prime meat

They're actually rather large considering a kapro can carry it. It looks about the same size as a kapro aswell

I think megalania is quite an underrated creature. It's stats are ok, and I have to say it's land speed is not great but one thing I recently found out is that its oxygen and swimming speed is pretty good. Not as good as bary, sarco, kapro e.t.c but still good. I like megalania :)

I love these guys. Don't think of them as standard battle mounts. I use mine to have a really fun time tracking and hunting down creatures in the Ragnarok canyon. Because you can shoot from it's saddle, you can wait to ambush potentially dangerous creatures from the walls and bridges. By far my favorite hunting mount.
