If your in foot you may want to run unless you have the fear to kill one of these. There strongest attack it when they jump at you. I've found it best to have any animal that has a high attack around when battling one of these.

Where do they spawn on lost island? Sky arrow if spawn deep in the desert
Ok the creature you kill to tame the mantis are endgame but mantises are mid game that makes no sense
If you see it and are landing on a flying mount land somewhere else that are fast and can jump at you also a lot of times they are with other things like spiders and centipedes so look out for other things if your going to tame.
They spawn on Lost Island in the desert in the bottom of the map.
Be warned that they have a fairly long range pounce, and do good damage. Don't fight these unless you're truly prepared.
Gillie suit cactus broth and bug repellent..kill all other creatures near and around the mantis feed from behind.
They arenβt in mobile so for all those people out there who plays only mobile donβt waste time trying to find them

Kill em and chop em up with a chainsaw for best results.
