Although this sounds dumb a stego will make taming much more easier. Hear me out, with it’s right click attack (forgot the control on console) it can stun it’s prey and force drain all its stamina flat down to 0. Then it cannot jump and it will be much easier to kite it to the trap. However you must be quick because once it loses its stam, it will start to regenerate its stamina back to full.

1. Get a snow owl

2. Freeze

3. Trap

4. Tame

When in a trap if they start jumping they loose food making it a really quick tame

Door in the face technique works

So you want to tame one if these strange creatures well here is some steps

1.Make sure you have a harpoon gun and some net projectiles and bring your option of tranqs

2. Go to ice biome on extinction and find a mana you want

Optional(Could happen). You might find one in the air and if your lucky so if you do,tame it if it’s a decent level

3.Let the mana chase you hopefully it doesn’t do much damage

4.Shoot the net project with the harpoon gun until it’s netted

5. Proceed to shoot it with your tranqs usually wait a few 5 or 4 second’s after each shot I recommend.

6. Once it’s knocked out feed it any kind of meat I suggest if quick or fast taming prime meat or kibble

7.Once it’s tamed. voila! You tamed yourself a mana!

Easy tame tip:

Aggro it so it runs straight at you, hit it with a harpoon gun and net. Once it's down, place 2 Dino gateways over it close to each other. Then its easy to knock out. Doesn't move at all :)

Easy dubs taming, you just have to net it then put dinosaur gateways around its hind and front legs so it can’t jump after it breaks free and to stay safe you could fit in gates on both sides of the trap

There's a glitch where they get stuck in the air. Don't bother taming those. They'll just float off onto the heavens, taken forever by the ark gods for all your troubles.

I recommend putting a regular dinosaur gate. to make the mangarm fit into one trap. then put another gate a little further than the wings. when you put the managarma to sleep, she will already be hungry. just give raw meat or lamb to tame. Personally, in 10 minutes I tamed the managa lvl 100 with meat, since she was already half hungry. I advise you to download stamina, health and punch.

Just recommended bring one large bear trap and two stone dino gates. First, kill EVERYTHING around you and the Mana then give it attention and let it follow you. Before that place one dino gate and large bear trap in da middle and then lead it to it and then when its trapped place another gate then ko it.

All I did to tame mine was make it aggro on me and just let it chase me in a circle while I pelt it with tranqs. For some reason they don’t do a lot if damage and rarely use their breath attack. Ince you have it, pump all of your first points into stamina. Then you can basically travel across the whole map within a couple of minutes lol

EASY TAME: net gun plus stone pillars and ceilings. Bet it down and then place pillars around with ceilings on top. By the time it wakes up you’ll have it trapped

Took more than 19 exceptional kibble to tame a 145 on official server.

Jump off your tame they will aggro on to you easier then jump back on. When they dive bomb to you drop a Dino gate let it run into it, then immeadiately drop one behind it close to the first one as soon as it goes green. Now its stuck for taming :)

It seems like the tranq calculations are quite off for this one, I only had to use about 10 tranqs with a 140% crossbow, which dododex said it would be 30 or so.

The devil of the ark world but when wild will fight everything and most likely die to mammoths so if your looking to tame these buggers try to kill everything around it and lure it into the trap.

A way to tame a mama is to hit it with net gun make sure you have more than one net then shoot the net gun put two stone dinosaur gateway above it and then tranq. Hope this helps or go to Nooblets YouTube channel and watch them do it.

Rex kibble works to tame these. Also the starve timer is off; it ends too soon. Double the amount of time it takes to tame these.
