I saw a tip saying snow owl is the easiest way to tame, allow me to one up you... net gun... walk up to a mana that is attacking something, wait for it to almost comepletely kill the thing, hit it with a net. Place 2 stone dinosaur gateways, One below the shoulders and One above, tranq quickly till knocked out (cause they can break stone) and feed exceptional kibble. boom. I was taught this trick and it made everything SOOO much easier.

The large bear trap works on the managarmr

Pray u get to them before they choose violence with a random creature and get merked

Honestly just use a harpoon gun and trap it using behemoth gates and then enslave it :)

On a 150 managarmr it takes 10 min with exceptional kibble

tame them by trapping them with a net gun, then follow up by tranqing them with your weapon of choice. super simple and easy.

Use a large bear trap, then trap it in three gates.

Dododex is wrong on the amount of kibble required to tame, use an extra 2 on high levels to be sure

I used one net shot from the harpoon gun and maybe 5 or 6 tranq arrows. It broke the net but I still downed it. I’d avoid challenging it if you’re not prepared for it. It will freeze you and stomp on you like a po’d teenager on fresh shoes.

Net the managarmer then place 2 - 3 stone dinosaur gates going across its body

Be careful when taming a mana stuck in the air. After it is tamed, it will be unable to move and will float up towards the skybox. Make sure to saddle it right as it is tamed and hop on.

These don’t need much tranq darts but realitively hard to trap so stay aware taming one they are crickets!

Really easy to raise. It takes them 17 minutes and 30 seconds to eat a 20 stack of raw meat and 13 minutes to eat a stack of 30 cooked meat. So they are very afk as a baby and once juvi very AFK with a troph full of cooked meat I can be away for more than 12 hours with my trophs all stocked up since cooked meat last way longer.

Went taming last night for a breeding pair. Had to manually Dino wipe the biome to spawn high levels. Even then, they run around and commit suicide by attacking everything insight. Or they starve to death as wilds which is really odd. Makes insta taming really easy though. Have a Tribemate in company, purge the weak and hostile, net and shocking tranq the breeders. Kibble is your best friend.

Still worth the tame. I use mine all the time. We go out and tame all we can during events to get new colors into the line

Honestly one of the easiest tames in genesis 2

All you need are 2 bear large traps or more for a high level, a crossbow, a couple of tranq arrows and a riot shield to take no damage if you want.

Step 1: Find It

Step 2: plant trap

Step 3: stand in trap and wait for the wreck-less thing to bomb-bard you (don’t panic, it can’t hurt you if you have a shield and it also can’t do anything if it gets trapped)

Step 4: Now that it’s stuck, tranq

If it escapes don’t worry just place another trap and stand in it

Don’t worry the thing will come back, once they attack you they’re pretty dedicated to trying to eat you.

Use a rock drake. When the mana jumps and dives onto you it will get stuck. Just knock it out while mounted on your rock drake.

Bring a Rock Drake and make the Mana aggro on to u. Once he jumps on top of ur Drake he is stuck there. U can tranq him without jumping of ur Drake. It's the simplest way to tame them.

Although this sounds dumb a stego will make taming much more easier. Hear me out, with it’s right click attack (forgot the control on console) it can stun it’s prey and force drain all its stamina flat down to 0. Then it cannot jump and it will be much easier to kite it to the trap. However you must be quick because once it loses its stam, it will start to regenerate its stamina back to full.

When in a trap if they start jumping they loose food making it a really quick tame
