Find a high level one and raise it. Imprint it all the way. Now you can harvest decent metal out of ordinary rocks, and get TONS of metal from node rocks. They shame Ankys and elementals, add thatch to your inventory before the harvest, then take it out to get stone and wood, now add stone and wood to your inventory of thatch and build anything. Now sprint in it. See how slow the stamina drains? Nice. Won’t Agro swarms and can defend in a fight. Watch it’s health. Now force feed it Ambergrease, see it regenerate health? Awesome!

Now ponder what breeding for stats will do to make it better...

Super easy to kill these. Just stay behind them at their tails and attack. They only are able to defend their fronts. They only have one AOE attack that can hit all creatures in the area with projectiles, one purple cloud that acts as rare flower, and one that heats the area around to ignite ground foes. But they use those sparingly, and are easy to kill with Allosaurs and Rexes.

If you are on a “free build, missions disabled, fliers enabled official servers” you can kill them with Argies. Just attack their backs and tails. But watch for their buddies that might snipe you out of the air from a ways away.

To tame Magmasaur you must steal the egg

Best way to get eggs is to leave 3 or more rexes at the entrance by the eggstraction mission. Run multiple people in on 1 rex at a time. Eat cactus brew, parachute, teleport, grab egg, and run back. Rinse repeat, just make sure you leave the rexes in a safe point in the cave away from magmas and golems.

You can't tame adults so I suggest look for the in the volcano where they then get the egg becarefull so non of them know then put the egg in the center of a torch circle like the wyvern it might work just advice

One Ambergris gives 500 food and at beginning they eat a lot

Magmars are *better* farmers than anky are for metal. It gathers nearly twice as much at half the melee investment.

If trying to get eggs use a bloodstalker [thats what I recommend if your good at using them and have high health.] And district the parents and get the egg and get the hell out of there

Like it’s predecessors, the Magmasaur is a simple “Grab the egg and get the hell out” tame, however this one CAN be breed with each other, but only in lava. Don’t bother trying it on Val or Rag, as it won’t work. The only lava source it works on is Genesis, so build a base near lava if you want as many Magmasaurs as possible.

Tame a archeoptrix in the ocean se spawn I used it to fly all the way down to the eggs cryo it used parachutes n grapple easy they don't take much to tame I have loads now I call them my super pigeon lol

Food consumption is about 10pts/1min. Making 600pts/1hr.

If you have a space whale, you can use it to produce the ambergris you need beforehand and during taming. I hope this is helpful.

So I suggest going in on a high level blood stalker so you can just swing down and pick up an egg then go back to your base or get out of render distance and come back. You could also use a high level ferox and feed it some element jump down grave an egg and climb back out and go back to your base but a blood stalker is better.

They can also damage METAL. It isn't just stone, metal will also get demolished.

Turrets do treat their fireballs like any other explosive and shoot at them.

Some fireballs do make it pass turrets. Fireballs will soak bullets.

You may have noticed that unlike any other steal and hatch tame, magmasaurs can deal damage to you while you ride your mount, SO THIS IS HOW ITS DONE!! You get a ferox lvl 20 (higher if u can but dont name it... you'll see), then you lvl him in health, 500 in small form is ok, after that you have 2 ways:

1)KAMIKAZE(bloodstalker needed or some skill woth grappling hook); you transform your ferox and whistle him to riot right into the nest, the point of this is that all magmas use their magma bombs against him, so you can pick up your eggs and get out of there (its called kamikaze, dont make me write it)

2) I'LL TAKE YOU ALL ON; transform him, whistle attack, riot 1vs4-5-6, and then you charge with your highest dps dinos, lava doesnt do as much damage as on other maps, plus you can stay at the edge of the lava and you'd be fine, i used 2 rexes mated boosted w 7k health and 500 mele and i got out with everything alive and 6 magma eggs, you can use allo packs or spinos too.
