Find a high level one and raise it. Imprint it all the way. Now you can harvest decent metal out of ordinary rocks, and get TONS of metal from node rocks. They shame Ankys and elementals, add thatch to your inventory before the harvest, then take it out to get stone and wood, now add stone and wood to your inventory of thatch and build anything. Now sprint in it. See how slow the stamina drains? Nice. Wonβt Agro swarms and can defend in a fight. Watch itβs health. Now force feed it Ambergrease, see it regenerate health? Awesome!
Now ponder what breeding for stats will do to make it better...

Magmasaur is breedable!!! But needs to be in lava to mate
If put in maewing saddle it wonβt die by the rain.
The Magmasaur will be a walking forge...

Magmasaur is able to destroy ALL STRUCTURES utilizing its searing spit. While it is a walking forge it produces metal at the same rate as a refining forge. You can use the jump button to taunt other creatures and when holding searing spit use crouch to erupt. (This attack pushes creatures back and leaves magma everywhere) it is breedable in lava. You can now feed Baby's SULFUR! yes SULFUR...
You can breed them without lava by enabling Mating and continuously hitting them with wyvern fire until they are finished
They now take metal ingots to us searing spit
These can eat stone as adults! 100 food per item, can be forcefed to them, amazing when in smelting mode. They seem to prefer meat, though.
