Getting these guys eggs is a walk in the park if u know how to use a bloodstalker just land on the egg pick it up and slingshot to the top of the cave.

For some reason these guys don’t really seem to detect blood stalkers so they only time these guys get pissed is when you get off not when you hit it. Go into the cave on a stalker that’s got some good health for you’re server and get off, get the egg, book it back cause other wise you’re doomed.

Raise takes about 6 days. And recives .6 raise percent per hour. Btw takes 5 hours to hatch.

Snatched a few eggs using two ferox with a tribemate, had a yuty as back up to scare the smaller critters away

They tame up in the same way as a wyvern.

Its like a rockdrake you need to steal an egg I suggest a good fighter or a fast dino brcause its a hard cave

Magmasaur can destroy stone structures with ease but are relatively slow. They can be quite easily outrun.

On Fjordur their eggs spawn in the back of the wyvern trench you can enter from a cave located near the wyvern trench on the side closest to the obelisk. I recommend a maewing with decent HP and Melee to enter near the start of the magmasaur cave. The inside of the magmasaur cave is very hot so i recommend ascendant ghillie (i am not even hot when wearing ghillie). Inside the cave is element shards (redish rocks near the back inside a nest and near the middle on a small side piece of land), crystal, metal and BLACK PEARLS!!! Nests spawn in the middle with the lava lake. I recommend to go inside the cave a strong tame (i go overboard and use a strong carch with a very good saddle doing 4k damage on max rage.

My stupid way to get an egg on Fjordur.

This can be early game too you just need an argi with very good stamina and an Anki with great health then grab the Anki with the argi and make your way into the cave (if there is a safe spot stop to get more stamina.

Find were all the magmasaurs are and drop your Anki then get there agro and fly up they will attack the Anki

Once they leave the egg spot use a spyglass to see the levels (go for a 115 or higher) swoop down grab the egg and get the hell out of there

You don't need Abergris if you give them Sulfur they will still grow even if they dont get Abergris (worked for me at least) up this if it helped you

It says they are best for gathering mutagel, mutagel spawns on gen 2 but magmasaurs don’t spawn on gen 2 which is weird

Here is a strategy I learned(from syntac) use a fjordhawk after finding the egg you want put the egg in your inventory and eat organic polymer to respawn and keep a bed a good distance from the cave and your fjordhawk will being your stuff to you!!

Baby magmas DO eat Sulfur, however it is VERY slow. They drop at least 40 food before eating.

So I just found this out and didn't see it on here anywhere, but it eats stone best of all!! Like, I wish I had known that from the start.

If you use a manargarmr in ark magmasaurs don’t attack you

Fjordhawks take damage on while riding magmasaur through Lava, unsure if shoulder pets have always been affected

Hey on ark I can’t find the magma saddle to unlock. Am I the only one that can’t find it

On lost island you can get the eggs with nothing all you need is luck and speed you can just spawn next to it run in there and hope you can grab some eggs before the onslaught of magmasaurs maul you.

In order to get the eggs on genisis find the lava cave (32.3 85.4 cords) and use the regular mek (doesn't fit in entrance) and wipe out all the magmasaurs In the area and look for the nest they are not hard to find and there might be a egg.
