These beasts can be found in the volcano biome on gen 1 all around most common inside the volcano protecting there eggs taking them on from range is not a good idea as they have a devastating range attack that can destroy even a tek base. Best from of attack would be to whistle a Dino onto the magmasaur as they have 2 AOE attacks that both harm and kill the player

Kill it from behind , it take time for shooting fire ball . Easy kill with wyvern

Managarmr is really good for stealing eggs, use a giga or two to empty out the parents

It can cook meat and metal while it's a baby

You can feed magmqsuars sulfer but it doesn't work on Xbox yet and you need morre airconditioning than for a wyvern egg

Be careful when you try to get their eggs I think you should get the bloodstalker or a flyer first

To hell the baby you schuld atack it with a flamethrower

So I was thinking about taming one of these guys. (Easier way to tame.) Kill it take it's egg and feed it boom you got a magmasaur.

I now have 4 of these on lost island 🌋🗻⛰ it’s easy for me because I live near the volcano but I don’t want more than I have. I think you need around 20 standing torches. When your trying to take some eggs for your self beware of the parents they are OP as flooborbooble.

Trust me blood stalkers are reckimended just make sure you legal it's health and damige hope this helps. If not sorry
