Timers have been fixed but visuals have not been they no longer take 17 seconds it's much longer like an hour.

So it steals the baby dinos of other tribes I wonder if the person that has the meawing owns the baby after the meawing steals it

Helloooooo!!! :D Mobile user here! I used god console to get a few of them onto The Island, and they are AMAZING!!! So here is how to use them [Mobile controls] When interacting with them, enabling Nursing will auto-feed any puggles that come to their parents. Also, since they have no In-game gender, you can give them any name- and just PRETEND they are Male or Female! : > also, because of that, both parents will lay eggs. [baby platypuses are called puggles, so the babies are called puggles too.] [I hate the correct plural term for platypus. Platypuses??? It’s like saying octopuses- it’s correct but it SUCKS- ] Also, egg rarities are for different kibbles I guess.. Next, Riding Controls. If you just tap once to jump, you are gonna end up with the lamest, slowest jump. You gotta hold to jump. The longer you hold, the farther you go. There is a limit however, I just.. don’t know the measurement.. :| And while you are in the air, swiping up for the attack will make them spread out their fleshy membrane “wings” and slow down the fall. And if you swipe up while on the ground, there is a body slam attack, and after using it you skid for a bit then stop. But if you are at the coast in the shallowest part possible, when you do it you go for farther AND faster too! You can even continue onto land, which is.. odd but it’s fun nonetheless! And if you get them to high enough hp, you could wade around in the somewhat shallows or swamps and kill a ton of piranhas! As others have said, great for stealing eggs. Or you could just raise certain animals, but where’s the fun in that??

can we appreciate how good swimmers they are?

Great Tames absolute must tame early to mid game tame hard to knock because they run away and hard to trap with billboards because they just keep walking away but after they are trapped and tamed they have incredible speed if used properly hope this helps

How to get faster with a maewing:

1. Press shift 3 times before starting to fly to get a speed boost

2. Not flying up too much, only forward or down

3. Move your mouse (a little) down, right, and back up for a speed boost

These things are amazing tames to have, they are very fast to travel across the map and are very easy to tame and take few resources, I haven't experimented with the baby feeding trough and all that but I'm sure its useful, overall great early game tame that you should focus on getting

This creature will spawn in the Eden Biome (plains biome) of Genesis part 2. It will be a large creature that can glide. Not sure how to tame it. When tamed, you can use it to steal other player’s baby creatures, or maybe give imprinting buffs or stuff like that to your own. The Maewing has a saddle that can hold at least 3 baby creatures from what we’ve seen.

Put preserving salt in inventory to make spoil time longer🫡

They seem to lay eggs of multiple kibble types. So far I've found maewing eggs that produce basic kibble and other maewing eggs that make regular kibble.

This can be determined based on the descriptor and color of the egg; 'basic maewing egg' colored orange and grey makes basic kibble, 'regular maewing egg' colored dark blue and orange makes regular kibble (colors based on the color of the kibble I presume).

I'm not sure if this goes all the way up the kibble tree/if you can control production in any way.

When breeding both lay fertile eggs! Good egg farm.

it says "undetermined sex" but they can mate with each other and both will give an egg. Tried this yesterday.

These Guys are great to steal deinonychus eggs on fjordur either you lead them away and glide back to the nest giving you the time to get the eggs or you can run in grab the egg and glide away.
