Best advices get Maewing on Fjordur :

Teleport to Asgard NE

You'll spawn exactly in the area where the Maewings are

There's a lake nearby they are sometimes underwater

If not net gun your Maewing and knock it out on the ground (not many aggro dinos in the area)

If underwater good luck! (U can sometimes knock them out (underwater knock works) cuz they get stuck in the lake)

Make sure to up this tip so every one can see :)

When they are babies they will eat berries and meat. They are also very hungry bois (this might be just me as i am playing on a boosted server tho.)

It’s a fundamental Dino if you want to breed/4 baby’s per maewing at the same time !!! And you don’t have to worry about the baby’s more appart that it is a great fiber and berry farmer but the most important very easy to tame with few sock darts and a grid you will by fine it’s ovnibore but his preference it’s the basic kibble . ADVICE : you can find a lots of them in fjourd asgard in the red jungle and also in lost island in the middle right zone of the map. Gl with your Dino’s ;)

Easy tame

Place large bear trap infront of it then shoot with tranqs then feed meat, kibble, or berries.

only squid can knock this out with a 999 sec delay per hit.

Teleport to Asgard in red woods you will find him close to village near water and you can find beautiful thyo on fjordur

Get a nut gun and shoot one you find on the ground then use tranqs and knock it out then feed it boom u have a maewing

MEWINGS *CAN* FEED JUV BABIES ALL THE WAY TO 99.9%, DO NOT BELIEVE THE TROLLS.

Cool tip use snow owl to heal freeze it but make sure you have a roof over it worked for me and my tribe hope it works for you!

Nets are essential- just some metal and a couple polymer with your harpoon, a little meat or even better, basic kibble to go with it and a slingshot can knock a low level- no need for traps or anything else

If you plan to tame a maewing a good idea is to kill a sheep you will get lots of mutton from it. It will make taming a maewing speedy quick because mutton is the best taming food for maewings!

I'm so glad this guys only takes the cheapest kibble

Cheap & easy tame:

Trap it with 3 Wooden Billboards in form of a triangle around it.

Place 2, eat 1 rare flower, let it chase you to the billboards and place the last one close behind it.

It can't jump out.

If you have the build space build billboards in a triangle very close to maewing to prevent escape and minimal trap building. If you can use the net gun then build its easier but free placing is also viable.

When breeding maewings you only need 1 to be able too breed but it gives you the 1 egg and not 2 it would normally if both was breed able.

Make a trap with billboards in a triangle, and add one in the middle, covering it’s mid section. KO it, and slap on a saddle. Glide quicker than a Griffin

They like raw meat for raising. They will eat berries, but prefer the meat. They also eat like giga so watch them for the first few percent points.

To keep from chasing them espicially the colors you need use a net gun.
