Tamed a 130 with tranq arrows amd crossbow. Simple tame. Make sure to keep up with it as it will glide away when hit. Saddle unlocks at player lvl 19!!

I have a hunch the breeding miiiight be intentional, as it would make the most sense story wise. Make them Hermaphrodites, and you don’t have to worry about one half of the race not being usable for their primary purpose lol hoping it is intentional, because it seems neat to me:)

You can actually breed them. They are instant pregnancies and BOTH maewings have a baby.

Knockout tame, tamed a level 30 and I believe 20 last night they prefer meat when taming over berries took 2 tranc arrows to knockout both.

They are passive tames, if you go up and hold Y you will lick one of its nips starting a mini game where you spam X to rub another nip while your character licks

There are omnivores i gave it meat and it tamed and it eats meat so you can kill a bronto and not harvest berries

This prefers raw meat over mejoberries and can be caught be the new net ammo.

Don’t worry about trapping them, you can just follow them in the direction they jumped away and they won’t lose any torpor off the arrows. I did a 55 and it took 3 tranq arrows from a prim crossbow. No trap needed.

At the moment they don’t have genders but you can still breed them and both give eggs

The eggs are same level as different kibble and the better they are the harder to hatch

U can rame it with prime meat .

Its a classic knockout tame its eats meat and is a rly easy tame use the jetpack to follow it while shooting tranq at it and bam u got a maewing

This thing actually is an omnivore, mutton and prime meat also works

If you’re trying to land a tranq arrow on it, it will run like sanic

U have to knock it and feed berries or kibble to tame, only rideable with a saddle. U can glide like a rockdrake and even glide faster like "throwing a rock" on the water surface. Not able to climb walls

Net them, tranq them, feed them. Easy.

The meawing is a simple knockout tame. You can trap it using billboards then hit it with your choice KO weapon. It is an omnivore that eats both mutton and/or mejo berries.

Mutton/kibble for best results in taming...these can also breed and both parents lay an egg!...100% confirmed on official server

Best trap design I have found is to hover over the Maewing and place a dino gateway in the middle of it, turn 90 degrees and place another. Afterwards add 0-2 more if there's a gap. Also they are Omnivores so Mutton is a great choice.
