When mating, they both lay eggs. The eggs can be of different rarities as well

These are knock out tames. Not sure what kibble they prefer yet, but they do eat berries.

This creature is not a Nanny, it will not imprint for you, but it will act as a feeding trough for babies, you have to supply food in it thu and enable feeding, it can carry 3 or 4 babies on its saddle but they can be hit and die from fighting so take care, in PvP it can steal enemy babies and claim them for your own, lastly its super fast glider and can jump very high.

They're able to breed! Both maewings drop an egg! Pretty awesome

They are knock out tames but you have to be fast because it will fly away, it also eats berrys as food.

The maewing are omnivores so you can tame them with meat or berry's. They are also extremely fast literally they can turn in a dime running and gliding. Its also worth mentioning it has two attacks with the same animation the secondary does no damage to creatures but the primary does and they can harvest both meat and berry's

Maybe it will be like troodons. Feed it ur babies and it tames.

There's a comment up top that says they have a gestation period, they do not. They lay eggs and you hatch the fertilized eggs. Careful how many babies you feed on them, too many causes feeding effectiveness to go down and babies will starve to death even with a full maewing

Okay okay. So, I think maewings are incredible. Being able to glide at fast speeds make the map very easy to traverse. They are a knockout tame, but be careful because they will flee if hit, and when they do, they jump, and you lose your maewing. But, I’ve got an amazing way to trap them. Get wooden billboards, I would say maybe 5 would be good. Find the maewing you want, then it depends on your timing. You want to place a billboard right in front of it, so it gets temporary stuck. Then place billboards all over it. I would highly suggest putting a billboard in the middle, so the maewing won’t be able to jump, then knock it out, and feed it the food of your choice! For Taming: it prefers meat. Mutton for best results.

After tame: its an omnivore so it eats both.

Babies: while they are also omnivore and will eat both, my testing shows that Babies prefer Raw FISH meat.

Remember to net it or it’ll jump

(Net Projectile needs harpoon gun to work)

Use a chainsaw to harvest the mutton to tame anything with mutton. Will get the most mutton ever.

Find one in the middle of the Eden Zone the just crossbow tranq it and feed it mejoberries.NOTE it will flee but just make note of where it landed.

The easiest way to tame a maewing is…..

1.net gun the maewing.

2.use something to knock it out with.

3.when it knocks out put berries in its inventory.

4.here is you maewing.

Use harpoon net to trap it then you can knock it out
