If you are hatching eggs and raising baby’s hat the maewig because it automatically feeds them

Babies dont need to be carried by maowing for it to feed babies, Just go hot wheel and enable feeding to trough and lvl up nursing range and your good, 3000in nursing range is 10x as big area as a regular feeding trough so No worries if babies is near or not as Long as your nursing range lvl is around 3000% standard was 1200% mine

When breeding maewings you only need 1 to be able too breed but it gives you the 1 egg and not 2 it would normally if both was breed able.

Make a trap with billboards in a triangle, and add one in the middle, covering it’s mid section. KO it, and slap on a saddle. Glide quicker than a Griffin

They like raw meat for raising. They will eat berries, but prefer the meat. They also eat like giga so watch them for the first few percent points.

When using the maewing to nurse babies be sure to have the required food in the maewings inventory

Their mode that feed creatures doesn't just work on babies in their saddle it has an actual radius that you can turn on to see. So just surround them in all the babiiiiiieeeessss!!!

These guys are good at hervesting berry's and meat/hide and they can harvest fiber too if you are running low on it or hide too

When trying to fly/glide with Maewing, takeoff once, then land so that you begin sliding. After that takeoff again and you will be launched pretty high. I use this strategy to gain momentum and it works pretty consistently.

When you put weight up on these bad things, they are great for loot runs, with higher levels 150 being able to do about 60 point of damage, to defence if any thing goes wrong but usually you are in and out in seconds the only thing that could beat this is a wyven

The maewing is a great creature and it makes it so much easier to care for the babies and make sure they are safe and easy to transport them

When you use the maewing for raising babies make sure the babies have the food trough icon on there head or they will starve even if in range(found of the hard way after walk imprint). Levels in the effectiveness stat increases the range they can feed and levels in weight can help but the maewing has weight reduction on meat and berries. Most important thing is to remember to enable nursing or the babies will have the trough icon and still starve because it isn’t feeding them.

To keep from chasing them espicially the colors you need use a net gun.

Use wooden signs around the mawing in a triangle very close together so it can not move.

The Maewing is the new best scouting dino. Due to its speed, it can traverse any map a lot faster than most flyers (makes Crystal Isles seem not as big anymore!). If you hold your jump button, the Maewing will jump higher, giving you a boost. In addition, if you slide onto the ground, hold jump, and let go, you will get a massive speed boost, similar to the snow owl.

Find one, whip out your harpoon gun, shoot it with a net, tranq it a couple of times and it's out. Kill near by ovis, feed it and you'll never have to hand feed a baby again. Even water tames park it in the water and it can feed your water babies too.

These guys are my new fav tame, they are extremely fast and have fair weight with a few levels. Pop in some levels into melee and your dealing 1,000’s. Their health goes up a crap ton too. These are one of the ultimate travel tames. Perhaps even better than the Thyla.
