To tame make a trap I would prefer tranq darts to tame

When breeding both maewings lay eggs and they hatch in about 10 seconds or so laying eggs randomly gives a random class of egg (E.G regular maewing egg, superior maewing egg) these could potentially be used for egg farms for every kibble

Ideal incubator temp for hatching is 24°.get some.

Great tame to get for getting around. I just got one and it can travel really well. It has a charged jump to get up high so it can glide and a parachute to slow its fall. It can also glide along the ground and water for a little bit if you dive into either. It is also an amazing swimmer. On top of everything, it’s adorable. 11/10

The Maewing will periodically lay eggs that correspond with different kibbles! So we might be able to make all types of kibble from just this creatures eggs :)

It can carry enemy and friendly baby dinos

They are a very easy knockout tame. Just put down a large beartrap and lure it in with honey and then place gates over it because it glides away when it takes damage. They have very low torpor and I think they like superior kibble.

Be careful about torpor timer on these, have had 2 of them wake up just going off of dododex

Build a trap that stops it flying away after taking a tranq. Lure it in (eat rare flower) and tranq away. Just make sure nothing else is around when consuming the flower. Or tranq and fly after it if your skilled/quick enough.

Put meat or berries into the maewing then activate the nursing option and put babies within range for easy baby raising trough.

They Love Mutton, prefer Meat over berries

Use the new harpoon net projectile to pin them down then use your Tranq weapon to knock them out. They take superior kibble.

Good luck taming these they are insanely fast and quick. They seem easier to ko in water (and they don't have oxygen meter)

Easiest flyer on Gen2, shoot it, wait for it to glide out of render, follow it, shoot it, repeat. Make sure to use mutton only.

On fjordur for a perfect tame use raw mutton and a sanguine elixir and best place to find them îs neer the boss summon on asgard

If you dont like traps or using nets you must find the beat bow there is and use toxicant arrows because after the first few shots you will never see it again. They also can get knocked midair. Beside a giga. Beside an alpha rex. Surrounded by other things that want rko you and eat your face off.

Storing preserving salt in their inventory also extends the life of raw meat/berries. Since finding this out I like to keep a Mortor and pestle nearby filled with salt and sulfur to craft it whenever I'm raising baby's.

I would recommend using 3 big wooden billboards as a trap, since they have can escape quite easily if your not using a trap . use either raw prime meat or mejoberries for taming.

They are pretty easy to tame all you need is a good level horse and kick it in the face untill it decides that it loves you
