They only feed babies you have CLAIMED. They will not feed your hatchling if you do not imprint/claim them first. Please share this tip with your mates so no more babies die!!

You have to place 3 billboards around the maewing once they stop moving. and tranq them with a bow. It might take 1-10 shots depending on what bow you have. And once you have it knocked out you have to feed it berries or basic kibble. They spawn near water or in the plains and you have to craft the sattle in a smithy

When you take a maewing be sure to up stamina,weight,and nursing effect so you can carry a lot of meat while on the run with your babies or if your moving servers they can be great fast moving dinos!

I have one all you have to do to get one is shoot it with some knock out arrows at the head and shoot nets

I think you should get the net gun it will make it so easy

You can grab it with a wyvern, put it in a taming zone in your base and built tatch foundation, walls and roof to avoid him to jump to heaven then tame it 🤘

It’s a fundamental Dino if you want to breed/4 baby’s per maewing at the same time !!! And you don’t have to worry about the baby’s more appart that it is a great fiber and berry farmer but the most important very easy to tame with few sock darts and a grid you will by fine it’s ovnibore but his preference it’s the basic kibble . ADVICE : you can find a lots of them in fjourd asgard in the red jungle and also in lost island in the middle right zone of the map. Gl with your Dino’s : ;)

They can also help with imprints!! If you set you’re babies to fallow when they want to walk. And put them in the maewing pouch. Then get on the maewing and run !! It will imprint in a short distance !! And 4 of them at ones !!

They should make it so they do the imprinting for you when in the saddle. So I don't have to set alarm

You can easily trap this things with 2 wooden billboards

These things are really good especially on modded map fjordur their glide is super strong and all you need is a bit of mutton longneck tranq darts and a net. They are super worth it and are exceptionally fast, in my life pinion better than rock drake

Use billboards to trap then knock out then find a sheep get mutton and bam it is tamed

Can be tamed with honey as well

Maewing is the best dino to travel, if you are New.

I don’t know if anyone knows this already, but my friend told me that you can easily tame Maewings by trapping them in a bunch of billboards. I tried it and it works pretty consistently.

You can easily knock out a low level by shooting it in the head but to knock out a high level get a net gun and shoot it when it's trapped tranq it
