How to make a easy trap

Place billboard around the maewing like you would a procoptadon to trap it. Warning these things move around a lot when they are trapped so you have to place the billboards fast. Then make 2 or 3 pillars and place them right beside the trap and stack the pillars on top of each other. Then get 1 or 2 ceilings and place 1 on the pillar and the other should snap to the pillar and be over top of the maewing trapped in the billboards. The ceilings prevent the maewing from jumping up and flying away once you hit it. These structures can be whatever material you want because the maewing won’t break them. You can club the maewing out. Ps I do this on official so I know this works.

You can catch up with it without a trap but it's a hassle, also faster than almost every flying mount in the game because of the gliding boost trick. From point 1 LAT to 100 LAT only took me less than 5 minutes, wasted my time taming a Griffin but oh well

If you want to get a maewing you should get a net gun but most starters don’t have net guns so I recommend that you catch a low level one that takes one or two crossbow and try with it to catch a high level because even high levels just take 5 to 8 crossbow,

If you don’t know what food to feed it because you don’t have a lot of stuff to get prime meat don’t worry because at lost island where the maewing spawn you can find tons of ovis that gives mutton and it is one of the best foods you can feed it.

Wildcard will fix this soon I feel like but their is an exploit when attacking while gliding. Simply start gliding and bite something big and you will be stuck midair as long as you are biting. However you will slide down a little with each bite.

A Maewing paired with the egg incubator is finally the perfect way to hatch and raise baby’s, just keep the Maewings inventory filled with food

There eggs range from basic to best there is and drop then offen enough

(For early gamers) just saying these make great Wyvern egg stealers if you get good at gliding them also they swim fast

Punch one:

1. 2 seconds before countdown

2. 3 seconds before launch

3. 0.2 seconds before you find another one because it’s out of render distance

Can produce eggs that can make any type of kibble. Such as exeptional eggs make exceptional kibble and so on.

Only took 3 tran arrows to knock out a level 20

Takes just over 4 and a half hours to reach juvi.

Can hold up to 4 baby’s can fly glide and dive bomb with them, if u put food in the maewing it works as a feeding trough to the baby’s being held in saddle

Mutton more effective to tame.Dont try with berries

They can pop out all eggs even though they aren’t genderd so good for kibble farms.

KO tame- only need a few arrows even for high levels

Omnivores so mutton worked really well

When you shoot them they try glide away so have to be quick or make a trap around them

I hope when it comes out, if tamed it will take care of hatchlings and newborns. When tamed, I hope it can also feed baby mammals with its nipples.

There’s a bug with the belly flop harvesting berries but now you can do it again! You have to do left trigger and spam right trigger or tap it twice right before it lands or a little sooner, it gets a lot of berries
