When looking for a lizard nanny, do these steps:

Step 1: get on your argy

Step 2: locate the area where they spawn

Step 3: find one, trap it

Step 4: start knocking it out

Step 5: try to put food in inventory to tame only to realize another tribe got the last shot even tho you trapped it in your trap.

Step 6: get on your argy

Step 7: go home, cry, and pike a dodo

They would run once hit so I recommend that you build a trap using either two or three signs.

Awesome tame to have. Great for raising. Great for berry gathering. Much more fun than swingin the Bronto bun bun around. If your breeding and babies keep disappearing after you hatch them try incubating underwater and hatch them out underwater. They are semi aquatic. It seems the superior eggs like hatched in water.

These have fairly low torpor and tame exactly like a maewing - ko with mutton etc. Found at roughly 28,8; 38,30; 25,50; 66,56. They're smaller than I though but they're cute! They look sort of like giant glowtails.

They lay different colored eggs for the different kinds of kibble.

Make 4 billboards and trap. Easy knock out. Just put the billboards over their body quickly.

Spam billboards around it and across its body to get it knocked out without having to chase it.

In a pinch, you can use just normal raw meat during a event tame out pretty easy just like maewings they eat the meat real quick when taming out.

Just remember when shooting tranq arrows at it to watch exactly which direction it flies in if you didn’t lure it in a trap with rare flowers first.

If render on wild dinos is turned down when it leaves render it loses Agro to you so you could walk up again and shoot it with ease.

Use bow/compound bow for easy knock or you can use a crossbow for an easy knock as well and use raw mutton to tame

Can trap in 1x1x2 on official using 2 pillar, 1 ceiling, 4 walls. Knockout with tranq and feed kibble or mutton for best results.

There is no more Nursing Effectiveness stat, instead it will be tied to food stat once updated in the future.

If you unclaimed this thing it will feed nearby unclaimed critters. Useful if you don't have any incubators yet. That and when the game bugs out and you can't claim a baby until it grows up enough.

Blocking/trapping it with 3-5 Dino gateways with gates on the end making a sealed trap. Same as you would an argy works great on these guys! Don't have to chase it down or lose it to a dang rex.. rip!

Currently a knock out tame, very low torpor. Make a trap as they are very agile. They are omnivores, but prefer simple kibble.

A knock out tame with berries or meat not a passive tame

If you are a high enough level you can use a crossbow and tranq arrows without a trap with 1 or 2 hits.
