If you are a high enough level you can use a crossbow and tranq arrows without a trap with 1 or 2 hits.

These tame exactly like maewings. They have low torpor and are knock outs with mutton or kibble. On Astraeos they spawn at roughly 28,8; 38,30; 25,50; 66,56. I have found them in those areas. They're very fast in the water and have no speed bar, they DO have a nursing effectiveness bar.

Maeguana absolute beasts when it comes to gathering berries. Just do a hop attack on a bush and rake in the berries. On top of that these are faster then 80% of all the dinos ingame. Both on land, while flying they are effectively the fastest during glide. And they can swim so fast even sarcos dont keep up.

Hard suggest to get one for baby care as they can do nursing task and keep 4 baby/juvrniles on the saddle at any given time

To prevent running away, try and use rare flowers, make sure nothing else is going to attack you, from there lead into trap or just shoot and knock out doesn’t take much for these guys

Maegauana babies eat meat and berries, but berries are better to use when raising

My favourite tame for an egg/kibble farm as they all lay random quality eggs. Super easy to trap by spamming billboards or a basic gate trap, you can easily have 20 in no time plopping out eggs for your kibble needs

If you use it to feed babies, you should put some preserving salt in it which makes food last longer. You can craft it with sulfur and salt

Best creature right now to get from point A to B… especially underwater!

If you take out a spyglass or a gene scanner while mounted, you'll start gliding infinitely in the direction you're looking.

If you build up some speed first, you can glide endlessly in that direction. It's definitely a glitch, but it's really useful until it's patched.

Right now, I think it's the fastest way to travel using a creature with this glitch.

They would run once hit so I recommend that you build a trap using either two or three signs.

You can eat a rare flower to aggro the maeguana into a standard Dino-gate tunnel trap! Also, a maeguana can still mate even if it has a mating timer, it just won’t lay an egg, so one maeguana can mate with a whole pack like a stud

When looking for a lizard nanny, do these steps:

Step 1: get on your argy

Step 2: locate the area where they spawn

Step 3: find one, trap it

Step 4: start knocking it out

Step 5: try to put food in inventory to tame only to realize another tribe got the last shot even tho you trapped it in your trap.

Step 6: get on your argy

Step 7: go home, cry, and pike a dodo

Awesome tame to have. Great for raising. Great for berry gathering. Much more fun than swingin the Bronto bun bun around. If your breeding and babies keep disappearing after you hatch them try incubating underwater and hatch them out underwater. They are semi aquatic. It seems the superior eggs like hatched in water.
