I can confirm the rumors of this “gentle giant” being a raft murdering, heat seeking Ark nightmare!

Me and my friend were in the crystal isles I was afk when I got back he told me we were attacked. It does INSANE damage to rafts and if you are on the bottom right of crystal isles it should be easy to avoid. Ours was lvl 1 and I started shooting but idk how much damage I did. I knew what it was because of the spyglass.

At last i found a leedsichthys. Guess i won’t be riding a raft anytime soon

Don’t you just hate it when you tamed a fresh new level 50 Dodo and hopped it on the raft and this level 4 bastard came out of no where and sunk your raft and killed the dodo because you hit it on your way home when you were mining oil with your dunkle

I was going to herbivore island and an alpha level one destroyed my boat and my pt is stunk in the middle of the ocean 😭

These should be called raft eaters

I highly recommend when driving a raft, only traveling in shallow waters. While out in the open ocean whales WILL attack, no doubt about it. If you have no choice (for example, you’re heading to herbivore island which does have a short stretch of mandatory deep water) bring materials to repair your raft! Good luck out there, survivors!!

Dont encounter it, it chased me while in north zone 3 on the island so i went between rocks... i was told they were passive and when poked it with my pike he ate everything i had including me.

Leedsicthy always spawn on your way to herbivore island or if your passing stonehenge. If you see them at Stonehenge kill with a pick because they are beached. It's so worth it. I've killed at least 4 0f them between herbivore island and Stonehenge and 1 alpha in 2 days with an icthy 200. The alpha fight was scary because he swam off and couldn't see him so I aggroed him with my raft and killed it in 2 bites then me in one.

P.S. Leedsicthy are neutral to players.

Yes, it might be a chance that you had encountered the giant blue whale which is the Leedsitchys and it drops prime meat too, they don't attack you sometimes, but don't be afraid if they attack you, because it is a herbivore and deals no damage to you and your tames. Just not your raft (in PC)...

I’ve only seen one and it was an alpha.They only spawn in open waters and don’t attack you they only destroy you’re raft/boat.They are passive but not passive.

They look regular sized in the pictur but they are actually huge

I was calmly returning from the island of herbivores looking for a good place for my first base on an official server, when this hideous creature appeared FROM NOTHING and destroyed my raft, almost killing me and my parasaurus ... so much time gathering materials for this to happen...So,be careful.
