I highly recommend when driving a raft, only traveling in shallow waters. While out in the open ocean whales WILL attack, no doubt about it. If you have no choice (for example, you’re heading to herbivore island which does have a short stretch of mandatory deep water) bring materials to repair your raft! Good luck out there, survivors!!
More Leedsichthys Encountering Tips
When I was going to herbivore island I ran into two of these that were right next to each other. I only survived by staying next to the shore, they stay out in open water so doing this is safe.
They Spawn Mainly At Herbivore Island
I’m seeing a lot of fake tips about this character creature. Because I have also seen Leedsichthys in Ark Survival Evolved on Mobile. I’ve never seen an Alpha version of this Leedsichthys. They give a lot of meat. All you have to do is swim near them. You should be wearing a Diving Suit! You’ll get a pop up saying take meat. They get aggressive only if you punch them or shoot them with any weapons and if you attack them with any of your underwear tames. They will attack you, but they won’t do any damage at all to you. Since it’s a Herbivore. Unlike Carnivorous creatures. I’m sure that they’re still not officially tame. Only if you have bought the Cheat Console for Single Player. I really hope that people stop lying in the tips. Really help each other out because Ark Survival Evolved isn’t an easy video game to play in Single Player. It’s just as hard in Multiplayer. This overpowered sardine will basically undermine hours of hard work in a few bites; if there was a living representation of the taxman, this is it. Welcome to the ocean, enjoy your swim home.
Haha silly me. Casually taking my raft into open water thinking, "What's the worst that could happen? Mosasaurs can't go this high!" Ohoho, what a noob. Screw these guys. My poor raft...
Me and my friend were in the crystal isles I was afk when I got back he told me we were attacked. It does INSANE damage to rafts and if you are on the bottom right of crystal isles it should be easy to avoid. Ours was lvl 1 and I started shooting but idk how much damage I did. I knew what it was because of the spyglass.
Captain Ahab would be the only one mighty enough to tame the alpha leed. MOBY DICK!
I’ve only seen one and it was an alpha.They only spawn in open waters and don’t attack you they only destroy you’re raft/boat.They are passive but not passive.
I was going to herbivore island and one started ataking me
