When I was going to herbivore island I ran into two of these that were right next to each other. I only survived by staying next to the shore, they stay out in open water so doing this is safe.

So legitimately honey pacifies this whale. If you have a raft base or something and you have honey to spare you can throw honey into the water and it will stop attacking you. Check the wiki if you don’t believe me. Make sure other people see this

They Spawn Mainly At Herbivore Island

I’m seeing a lot of fake tips about this character creature. Because I have also seen Leedsichthys in Ark Survival Evolved on Mobile. I’ve never seen an Alpha version of this Leedsichthys. They give a lot of meat. All you have to do is swim near them. You should be wearing a Diving Suit! You’ll get a pop up saying take meat. They get aggressive only if you punch them or shoot them with any weapons and if you attack them with any of your underwear tames. They will attack you, but they won’t do any damage at all to you. Since it’s a Herbivore. Unlike Carnivorous creatures. I’m sure that they’re still not officially tame. Only if you have bought the Cheat Console for Single Player. I really hope that people stop lying in the tips. Really help each other out because Ark Survival Evolved isn’t an easy video game to play in Single Player. It’s just as hard in Multiplayer. It would be AWESOME if we could tame this beast. We can scrape food off of it, it has more base health than a Mosasaurus and can break everything up to and including metal. I say it should have a platform saddle, it would be the perfect base since as I already mentioned WE CAN SCRAPE FOOD OFF OF IT! So if you are at sea and become low on food, scrape off the fish meat and have a feast. This would be perfect for pvp and in all honesty, great for singleplayer and pve as well. Surely I am not the only one who would want this?

Ok so basically. These huge ass fish mainly hang around the herbivore island. Stay out of open water on rafts or you’ll become dinner for one of them. They do have alpha variants but they’re the easiest alpha to kill doing barely any damage to a saddled mount. I easily killed 6 of them near my base on herbivore island on my sarco.

Anyways that’s all from me on these annoyances.

TIPP: How to trap a Leedsichthy (the giant whale)

In this tutorial I will Show you how to easily trap a Leedsichthy.

Before I start with the tutorial i want to say that there are 2 ways to trap him. The 1st way is that you build a giant square inside the water where he can fit in and the 2nd war is that you leed him inside the "river" of the Red Obelisk and close both entrys to the river. Just follow those steps:

1) surch for a Leedsichthy and remember where he is (they often spawn near Herbivore Island)

2) Go to the Bottom of the ocean and surch for a Ammonite. When you find one let him bite you.

3) go to the leedsichthy and lead him inside your giant square or the river of the Red obelisk and close up all entrys.

4) kill all fishes except the Leedsichthy

5) Enjoy scrabing of his prime fish meat (he wont get aggro as long as you dont hit him)

I trapped mine inside the River of the Obelisk

I ran into one of these in Ark Mobile up the very top of the map next to the blue obelisk and I stabbed it with a pike because ehhh ;] and it gave me 40 or something raw prime fish meat??? It didn't attack me either. I didn't see any comments say this so maybe it was a different dinosaur but... I'm pretty sure it was this one (I'm a new player).

I just found out. In mobile, you can get unlimit prime fish meat from scrape this big fish.

How:

If you scrape it and get prime fish meat then logout the game and login again. It will reset the waiting time to scrape and it will always be prime fish meat.

50× prime fish meat per time

Ok, I know Ark says it doesn't have enough brains to be tamed but whales are really smart in real life. And if you could tame it, the should give the whale a platform saddle.
