Good prank on an enemy:

1. Get fish baskets

2. Find leeches

3. Tame leeches

4. Drop the leeches near the enemy

5. Laugh as they get latched on and see their hp slowly drain

6. Realize they have a burning campfire and ypu wasted all that fish for nothing

If you hear bubbling in the water run away.

Your pterodactyl can eat them off.

Like most animals like this leeches can be tamed using a fish basket on aberration they are not tameable on mobile or switch but they are on PC or consule

To get a leech of your tame simply go select that creature’s inventory and you’ll see a new option. It says “hold to remove leech”.

To cure it use Lesser Antidote(Dosent work on creature)

It would be cool if you could tame it with your blood from extraction syringes and then put it on other players’ dinos while they are offline >:)

Leech blood can be obtained by killing or harvesting a leech and it can be used for fish bait/lesser antidote which is used to cure swamp fever

Easy chitin farms, used it early game with a PT and got thousands

So only deasiesed leeches give you swamp fever. You can also get rid of normal leeches using a fire, and jumping on it! There's multiple leeches in some of the caves, so keep a fire or bed on hand!

If you wanna unlock the achievement cure all first tame a dodo next use admin cheats to spawn a diseased leech or find it in the artifact of immune cave in redwoods on the island next lure leech to your dodo let it bite your dodo then it will transfer swamp fever to you I've had 2 trys 2cnd time I got it and cured myself

Pra quem odeia esses bichinhos nojentos e chatos como eu . É relativamente fácil e básico se livrar dessas criaturas quando estão agarradas em seu personagem, basicamente só precisa colocar uma fogueira ao chão e ficar em cima da mesma , você irá perder um pouco de vida fazendo isso porém se livrará da criatura facilmente em poucos segundo sendo válido até esse método para criaturas sob efeito de drenagem das sanguessugas.

transfer to scorched earth to remove swamp fever or go into tek pod. leech blood is farmed in swamp cave. bring 1 gas mask and mid lvl megatherium in cryo. run trough the cave and youll end up with alot of blood and silica

You don’t tend to go finding leeches in a swamp, instead, they wriggle to find you. If you can’t kill them fast enough, they can latch on and drain health(and give you swamp fever depending on the type of leech). However, they make good fishing bait and are a decent source of swamp chitin.

I you get it on your mount you need to put your mount on the fire at least it happens to me up
