Fires work ONLY FOR PLAYERS ON MOBILE and you have to PICK IT OFF FROM MOUNTS.

If leeches stick to u you’ll need fire campfire or torch both do, if you get it on a tame just pull it off

If there is one on your screen in x box and no matter what you do it doesn’t come off check all your tames if a leech is latched on one of your tames it will show up on your screen.

I saw a comment saying you’d need an araneo to hunt leeches and I just wanna say you really don’t. For example I just use a sarco and have yet to have a leech stick on to me.

FOR MOBILE ONLY:

These are not as rare as you think. Every other I get yoinked off a mount by a kapro I end up running into at least one. That being said I don't get yoinked off mounts often but when I do in the swamp I find a leech. After puttering around on my pelagornis I managed to find enough to get 30ish leech blood.

They stay on your screen for a long time

Hovering over swamp with an Argentavis will lure leeches out and will form underneath you. Once this happens, attack with Argentavis for easy leech blood.

So ckickin wrong remove it NOWWWW OR ELSE!!!! NEKO-SEEK WILL FIND YOU!!!!

um.. just use a refining thing or a campfire to get it off of you 😋

In the dungeons you can find them in the large corridors where there's water flowing into a pool with 3 mangrove trees, but they are high level

if one latches on you walk into a poison vent to kill them

The reason I don't go into the swamp...

I would recommend to stay away from the Lil suckers because some of them have a dissese if you want to cure it drink a lesser antidote (lv 12)

I was riding my fastest Dino through the swamp because I was searching for boa eggs and prime meat. I saw these things coming for me. I know how to get leeches off but oh hell no I am not in a mood to get leeches on my gallimimus so I shot them so many times but they didn’t die 🤷

If you find a leech just jump on a campfire but if it’s a buffed sever hope you get lucky and some how survive

Run...run as fast as you can....

If you get a leach stuck on you ask a friend to peel it off, watch out friends you might get a leach!

If you go to scorched it instantly gets rid of swamp fever for you. I’m not sure about anywhere else.
