The diseased leech can be distinguished by its red and orange colour scheme rather than the normal leech being black and green

{*LEACH WILL NOT COME OFF} —

Not sure if this is a specific version, or if it’s a glitch on console only, but if you have a leach that won’t come off, it’s not actually on you, but on one of your dinosaurs.

If you remove the leach off of the dinosaur, the graphic of the leach will be removed from your view.

Fire no longer removes them. You can remove them through the radial menu of your tame.

About leeches

You can get rid of them by standing by your fire. I thought that was nifty. But standing by the refining forge will only heat you up.

Hopefully you don't make your hut near leech territory!

Bug with the leach not falling off your screen even though its dead... just encountered it. Log off and back on to clear it...

I was hunting sarcos and found a baryonyx I wanted to tame. Then I found this guy and he chased me halfway from the swamp to my base. I took care of him with my shotgun though.

I hate leeches so only go throw the swamp with my spino so if a leech get on me i can get it off kill it and get the blood

I have never encountered a single Leech in my entire playtime on Ark. I’ve taken dino’s at both night and day through both swamps on Ragnarok, swam through them and stood next to the shore hoping to get attacked. (I’m on official by the way) and I have Swamp Fever somehow.

Let's say you went down to the swamp and you ended up getting sucked on.

You can use a campfire or a tribemate to remove the leedh, and a Lesser Antidote to cure the swamp fever if you get infected.

to kill, just take your crossbow, point the crossbow at the Leech, yell, “DISGUSTING” and shoot it.

If you get one on you roast yourself over a fire

So the people who say leech’s are rare in mobile is right and wrong because yes it is still rare to find but I have found them FOUR TIMES but I have never encountered a diseased one and I hope I don’t.

To remove this bugger on Xbox since an “e” button fails to exist. Hold y. And above access inventory it’ll say hold to remove leech. Literally just watched 20 videos about the e button but nothing about Xbox or console buttons b were mentioned

Idk if Anyone knows this but if you have a leech a argentavius can remove them stand in front and open the command menu should be up saying( remove leech) my pro freinds were like u lieing but it's true thumbs for safe leech removal

Just hit the green finned ones with whatever happens to be the strongest weapon in your inventory they will pop and die but run if you see orange finned ones they carry the plague

Just step on them if you have anything that can deal damage when walking

If you want to get this off go to one of your carnivore creatures (I did it with a dilo) and press take off leech and boom it’s off

These do exist on mobile I’ve killed multiple just hit with a pike
