Knock out with catapult. Make sure to hit body to do torpor. Hitting legs damages it and doesnt knock it out. Shove rotten meat in it.

If you mess up and the Karkinos ends up having low hp. Find a small creature, kill it(do not harvest it) and bring its lifelless body to the Karkinos. Stand near the dead body so that when the Karki hits you it also eats the body and regains full hp but the torpor still remains. Hope it helps

People keep saying taming efficient gets ruined with Cannons, and maybe it does in ASE, but all the crabs i tame on ASA are starting at 100% and lowers down to about 98.8 with kibble.

They spawn in Genesis in several caves in the Lunar biome

Karkinos do NOT spawn on Ark Ultimate Mobile Edition Ragnarok map. They only spawn on Mobile Aberration.

In the wild crabs and spinos are buddies... they use the buddy system...

Put a catapult on a paracer, bring a high health turtle (carbomemys), whistle attack with the turtle and when the crab hits it put it in passive so you can easily aim and hit him on the body. No weird engineering needed.

You can fire weapons while riding it. Hold a creature you'd like to tame, then tranq it while your crab holds it in a claw - makes solo taming easy!

Alright not exactly my tip, but heard this from the YouTuber pterafier. He said that using a Crab with a Turtle with C4 strapped on it is a good seige device. Put C4 on Turtle, then use Crab to throw the Turtle at a base. Detonate the C4, blowing up the base where the Turtle is at. I'd recommend watching Pterafier, he has a lot of tips on his channel.
