I just started with my friend in a new server right after they released these winged devils. I was taming a dodo, as you do, then the second I tamed it I turned around then heard a noise then turn back and the dodo is gone, so I ask my friend what he did with the dodo then he said he didn't touch the dodo then I heard a noise look up and there is my dodo in the mouth of this devil and there is nothing I can do so Me and my friend just watch as a death message appears and then the dodos body disappeared then I see this bird devil just fly off and attack another dodo.

Not only can these guys steal from you they can also take off with your smaller dinos. One swooped down and flew off with my newly tamed Lystro

I use these things as target practice, I'm an ok archer cause of it. ( it's what the little buggers deserve )

Tamed one for the hell of it. Offered me unusual protection when traveling with my boat on PVP. Had it follow the boat and a guys kept attempting to land on the boat with a teradon but got relentlessly robbed by this bird and could no longer recover stamina and pursue once they ran out of food.

He stole my crystal wyvern egg, and then I shot it with my fabricated sniper, Best moment of my life

Little known fact the ichthyornis hitbox while flying is so small, you can waste your entire large box of bullets trying to hit it only to die 37 times because to hell with these pieces of trash. How hasn't this been fixed.

It takes a while to get used to getting fish with these guys. Have them always follow you when fishing. Put them on aggressive when fishing.

These guys will ruin your life ok. Be careful, when approaching one only take a spear (and a gun if your feelin lucky)(or just run that’s what I do) but don’t take anything valuable while going into war with one. Put your wife, life, and kids in you Tek house because trust me that’s not gonna be enough..these things will hunt you day and night and won’t stop till they get your journeymen shotgun.
