If you have a shotgun they’ll almost always hit them due to their spread, so long as your near enough. If you don’t have guns, crossbows and bolas can take down these scum

For the people who play on ark mobile these things are extremely difficult and are very hard to find in ark mobile I have traveled to almost every beach and I have never seen one the chances of finding one increases in the dungeon tho but I don’t recommend putting your hopes up if you want to tame this thing

These oceantic avian dinosaurs (birds) will steal any snacks you have on you except for kibble and will do so viciously but when tamed can do the same and make the flesh of small animals (salmon, celocanth, dodo, compy, pegomastax, lythrosaur, trilobite) tender and tasty (there prime)

When an Ichthyornis comes up on u, u gotta look at it until it goes away. They are attention hogs and will only rob you if u don't pay them attention.

You could also just shoot them, 1-shot with shotgun

Tho high level ichtyornis might be hard to tame, they really help with the early farming of raw prime meat and raw prime fish meat

These guys, (if you build on the beach) will quickly become the bane of your existence. Watch your stuff

USE THE POWER OF YOUR BIG BRAIN!!!!!!! They only take stacks so if you have anything valuable that a seagull would wanna inspect, split it into single pieces. It will only take that one! Then once you know it’s there, blast that stupid thing to another realm.

You know that one relatable moment when one of these eats your shotgun and you don’t have any range except for a crossbow with tranq darts and you kill it and I turns out it somehow digested your brand new shotgun and your left with 9 shotgun shells and no way to use them
