Nine years ago, I had the honor (or curse) of designing the Ichthyornis for ARK: Survival Evolved. I thought it was a cool, harmless little bird… until the moment it attacked my dodo.
Yes, my dodo. My companion for years. My loyal, plucky friend. And it was snatched right out from under me by the very creature I helped bring into the world.
Did I panic? Maybe a little.
Did I rage? Absolutely.
I grabbed my spears and… well… let’s just say the Ichthyornis felt the wrath of 97 spears to the head. It was chaos, it was justice, and it was pure ARK.
That’s the magic of ASE: unpredictable, brutal, hilarious, and unforgettable. Sometimes the creatures you love… bite back. 🦅💥💀
