What are tips for glowtail? Tips and strategies for glowtail in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
15 seconds between mushrooms just tamed a 100 on 1x and it tamed to lvl 136 not sure in mushroom count
Use z seeds to tame for best leveling boost. Ascerbic mushrooms take longer and lower taming boost (but are faster to farm, ok for low level nightlights for base).
Note: they stay still for the most part when mating, but have noticed them scattering about occasionally so keep them in a secure pen.
I found them in the cave that has the artifact of the depths
This is so cute and cool :)
They are bugged on lost island sadly :(
When raising glowtails, they eat meat. This wasn’t here when I started raising them, so this is for other unfortunates like me.
If you want to tame one of these glow tails I would tame them on gen 2 I’m Rockwell garden there are loads of them
To tame these little guys you can use mushroom or plant species x. Seeds work a lot better
Bring a drake you may need to cryo it a few times but youl come out with some cut little basterds
They spawn most in the area of the cave just past the artifact all you realy need are sleeping bags just run up to the meanies and agro them then commit suicide and jump off a cliff, make sure you place the sleeping bags near where you were watching the dinos but far enough away that they won't destroy it keep going like that and taking one of these majestic car insurance lizards is easyer than switching to Geico.
I've seen one once when I was messing around in creative mode and I accidently blinkrifled into an artifact cave and I thought it was the fertile lake where I live until I saw one of these just lounging around on the floor surrounded by deadly creatures! Oh, also they're huge but still can be put on your shoulder
Breeding tips: they don't move around when they mate so it's an easy breed. Babies take 2 days on 1x. They're incredibly small so are VERY hard to access their inventories. A serious issue comes from earthquakes. The babies have a tendency of falling through the ground becoming inaccessible.
Taming timers are way off, just tamed a lvl130 which according to dododex should have taken 2.38mins, by that time the tame was only at 20% ish
If you're able to go to any map for them, Rockwells garden on Genesis 2 has an overabundance of them, and their spawn cannot be blocked off like the cave on Aberration.
