Just wait 5 seconds between shots also tame low level not high.

I have 158 sonic which gives 100 stone per rock approx and 14 rocky gets 80 per rock so not much of a difference

More damage = more stone per hit

Doedicurus will now automatically attack stone rocks. Easily fly them close to the ground or have it wandering in a enclosed rocky field, and this little dude will smash away!

(Ragnarock) I find constant flows of 150 Doeds around 18,55 in the highlands next to the volcano! Hope this helps people.

A lot of people are saying dont use a crossbow, I tamed a 120 with a crossbow just fine. Just make sure you don't overshoot it and let the corporate build up in between shots.

Someone said "bola" but bolas don't work, just tried it and got attacked and these guys can send you back. I didn't build a trap but just shot arrows at the non-protected parts, but mine was lv2 so not very strong.

Best for harvesting stone, and can roll.

I think they are broken rn. I was taming a 140 put 100 tranq arrows in it with a 218 damage crossbow. And it’s the second one in a row that did that to me. Like after they go into their shell and then come back out they don’t move. They are broken.

Found many of these in Redwoods while trying to hunt some Terror Birds, I didn't know it was quiet useful so I just let them be but know after reading the comments about them I really wanted to go back so I can have someone to farm me some stones.

Leave it on wander by your base with a tracker it will collet stone

This is a real "MUST HAVE" tame

You can trap them with stone fence supports, you should shoot them in the head not the shell its shell only takes 50% of the torpor from each shot. It took me 4 shots into its head to K’O it with a rifle and tranq darts.

Do not shoot it in the tail! I dropped it in my taming pen and was about 5 shots in when I realized it doesn't register at ALL.

Simple, aim for the head and then feed berries or whatever you are using but make sure to keep track of the torpor because it drops fast but not as fast as people say

They like to hang out near the mountains (island)

Where to find them:

In ark mobile Dodecirus can be found in large numbers at the redwood forests at the top left of the map or the mountains.

Taming details:

Dodecirus are knockout tames and they eat berries

Problems:

They have armour on the top where they take less torpor so shoot their underside and if you damage it to much it will curl into a ball and it will be hard to knock them out and if you hit a Dodecirus all nearby Dodecirus will attack you

Advantages:

Dodecirus are slow so you dont need a mount to outrun them and you wont need a trap because it might not catch up to you.

Abilities when tamed:

Dodecirus will turn into a ball and roll really fast also they can destroy rocks,bushes and trees and gather their resources and they have a weight reduction on stone abd the saddle is unlocked at level 34 and made in the smithy.
