So anyway, this human who legit spawned right in front of me, looked at me and smacked me in the beak. I didnβt take kindly to that, so I pecked at him. He kept punching me amd I was beginning to feel dizzy. So I did the only thing I could think of... swim away from him. Thatβs right, I jumped into the ocean and drowned. Iβm a ghost now, but I just laugh at him trying to tame others of my kind. He is so TRASH

The Dodo uprising - chapter 3
Three Years Earlier
The small Dodo was lifted on the platform until it came to an abrupt stop. "Subject 372. Post exposure. Not very intelligent. Small and weak." Said the scientist, staring at the small bird through the glass window. "We are on schedule. You have permission to begin the test." A voice told the scientist through an intercom. Pressing a button, the scientist watched with excitement as the sharp needle injected into the flightless bird. It squawked and started to panic as it trembled. Then, it stopped and the scientist took off her glasses, leaning back into her chair with disappointment. "Test failure. Maybe the next subject wi-" she was cut off as the window exploded into shards and a monstrous bird climbed out. Her screams were heard on the intercom as the Dodo ripped flesh from bone. The test was indeed a success. They had created a monster...

Present Day
As the trucks rode out through the massive indoor city, the screams and cries of the innocent became unbearable. A man covered in blood jumped toward the slow moving truck, trying to climb on. A Dodo lunged toward him and clasped its beak around his leg, pulling him back as he desperately tried to hold on. "Speed up." Suggested a soldier. "But, we can't just-" jerald began as the truck sped up. "Sorry, but we can't risk everything just for some civilians." The soldier told him, looking away and firing at something. Jerald stared with disbelief as they neared the gates of the city. Would he finally escape? The truck suddenly stopped and Jerald heard screams of terror. A wave of tiny hovering birds surrounded them, blocking out the sky. He felt sharp pains as the tiny birds bit him. Tiny Dodos? Turning, he watched as the birds carried a soldier into the air. The man screamed as the birds completely covered him and bones dropped in his place. Jerald opened the truck door and ran towards the gate with the remaining soldiers.

The Dodo uprising - chapter 2
Jerald looked up at the sky. The only thing not hidden from him. He had heard of grass, but never had seen it. Only the farmers and hunters saw such things. Suddenly, he was being yanked to his feet by a soldier. "EVERYONE, EVACUATE THE PERIMETER! THIS AREA IS NOT SAFE, I REPEAT, THIS-" the soldier screamed as a massive bird pinned him on the ground and started to eat him alive. Jerald ran and the oversized chicken turned to look at him, letting out an indescribable blood-curdling noise that permanently scarred him. innocent civilians around him were attacked. He spotted a car and picked up a stone, throwing it at the window and climbing in, ignoring the intense sharp pain from the glass. A bird walked to one side of the car, and another on the other side. They both saw him and were ready to attack. Jerald hastily climbed into the back of the car as the birds tried to get inside. With all hope lost, Jerald closed his eyes as the evil creatures prepared to kill him like they had with so many others. A gunshot sounded and Jerald looked up to see soldiers with assault rifles all shooting at the birds. "Hurry! Before more Dodos come!" Someone yelled as Jerald climbed out of the car, his body still trembling. "You're damn lucky we showed up before they ate ya'. Can you shoot?" the same person asked, picking up a spare gun. "No. Uh- how do I use a gun?" Jerald said quietly, still shocked from the Dodo attack. "Pull the trigger and hope to God it don't get jammed. That's all you need to know. If you're a bad shot, well, at least you will've tried. Don't expect to live though." The soldier finished, handing over an assault rifle with surprisingly little hesitation.
They climbed onto trucks and sped off through the city. Everything was on fire and in ruins. Jerald watched in horror as people just like him were attacked and killed. He shot at the birds, but it seemed as if there were infinitely many of them. They just kept coming...

The Dodo uprising - chapter 1
Jerald sat on the steps of his porch, lost in thought. He wished to see the outside world, but it was hidden from him. He hated the place, and hoped the walls would just fall down so he could run free. He never thought it would become a reality...
* * * * * *
"THERE'S BEEN A BREACH! GET READY!" someone yelled as soliders grabbed guns off the walls, one by one, moving on and putting on full flak. "Show no mercy!" They yelled, getting behind cover as the first tek walls collapsed. General Sherman heard gunshots and screams as he spotted a grenade across the room. He'd have to come out of cover to grab it. Voices screamed in agony and bones crunched as the dim red light shined through the room. Blood covered him, but it wasn't his. His hand reached for the grenade as the gunshots and screams stopped. His heartbeat was the only sound. His arm stretched and he felt the grenade with the tip of his fingers. Suddenly, a massive talon pinned his arm as he screamed in pain and surprise. A beak clasped around his neck and pulled. The bird ripped his head off as torn flesh dangled from his neck. More came to enjoy the feast of bodies. It wasn't alone.

I had a dodo once, his name was Dave. He saved me countless times against sarcos because for some reason the sarcos just circle around him without hitting him. But one day when I went to sleep, when I woke up he was gone, and I didn't get a message he died. You will be missed.

The Dodo God
Ch. 2
The dodo landed in the rapids and struggled to keep his head over the surface.he flapped and flapped, but little Salkanβs wings were useless, and he felt his stamina draining. He knew that squawking would do no good down here, so he saved his breath. As he thrashed, he slapped a sabertooth salmon, and the masses came. As he continued down the river, he began to beep the salmon getting closer. He needed to get to land.
βLand!β Salkan squawked in his dodo tongue. βWhere am I going to find that here?!β He began to realize that this had to end somewhere. This would probably empty out into the ocean!

The Dodo God
Ch. 1
Staring down at a small dodo who was looking into a well, the dodo god snapped his fingers. The small dodoβs eyes lit up as he began to hear the rush of water echoing across the bricks and up out of the well. His faith in the dodo god had been restored! The dodo reached out his wings to grab the rope that was harboring the small bucket that was his salvation. As his feathered fingers began to brush the rope, he could feel his talons begin to slip, and he began to doubt his abilities. He wanted to be able to grab some water for his family. The small dodo slipped and tumbled down the depths into the raging water.
