Immobilize it when possible, knock it unconscious with tranquilizers, and feed it preferred meat or kibble while protecting it during the process. Once tamed, a Direwolf is a versatile, saddle-free mount suited for exploration, combat, caves, and gathering, with pack bonuses improving its effectiveness; however, its lack of saddle armor makes breeding and health investment important for difficult fights.
